Worst experience I’ve had at a salon. I walked-in for (2) hair treatments and a blowout. The treatments were an oleplex repair mask, and a Malibu clarifying treatment. I told the stylist that I had some hairspray and some gel buildup, and that I was planning to have my hair cut and colored the next day with my personal stylist because its was in a weakened state after an over-processing done about a year ago. All I know is that after the treatments, the stylist begins brushing my hair and the brush gets stuck in it. Then I hear her pulling my hair apart and I can hear my strands ripping. I touch my hair, realize its a large knot but I still tell her that I was going to go home and untangle it myself since I know how to properly and gently remove knots. Also, I preferred do it myself since I didn't want her to continue to pull the knot apart. Unfortunately, when I went home, I noticed it was a lot worse than I thought and most of my hair had so somehow gotten into a large knot. I went back to the salon but it was closed at that point. Most of my hair became tightly woven into a hard ball and me and my family spent several hours and into daybreak, to untangle the knot. Unfortunately, there was a lot of hair that came-off during the untangling process. I already had scheduled an appointment with my personal stylist so she was able to cut the rest of the damaged ends.
I lost a lot of hair as a result of whatever mistake happened. I eventually was able to speak to the salon manager but she wanted to fault the quality of my hair but my sister went to cosmetology school and she doesn’t believe that was the case. She and I agree that my hair was in the condition to have to simple hair treatments done and it was some mistake from the stylist during the application process. The manager did not want to offer to pay to repair my hair since I had it already scheduled beforehand and she said she would offer a refund for the services but I never got a refund.

My first visit to this salon was great. My stylist was Jarina Soto and she was fanastic! When I tried to book my second visit, she wasn't listed for the service I wanted so I booked with another stylist, Akilah Bey. I do NOT recommend booking with Akilah. She is extremely rude and unprofessional.

I asked for 4 inches off and she cut 12 inches off. I personally did not want and don't like short hair on myself.

Had a lovely experience yesterday getting my hair done . The place is friendly and my stylist was the best. They were on time and gave the best shampoo experience I’ve ever had. Plan to go back all the time for my crazy hair needs. ❤️

The Jcpenny salon in cherry hill is always my go to. Cindy specifically always does an amazing job. She is very fun and professional. I refer her to everyone who asks where I got my hair done! Everyone is always welcoming and king!

Jennifer was amazing and went above and beyond with my service! Not only did I receive a great dry cut (which I’ve never had a dry cut before but she knew her stuff and this was totally the right call) but she spent time during my cut helping me look up fun spots to hit while in the area for my birthday! All the women in the salon were so kind and I am in love with my hair - plus it was a great price! Highly recommend ?

Horrible experience. Receptionist was rude and couldnt operate the payment correctly. The hairdresser gave me the opposite of what I wanted and kept blaming me for it… but shes the one with the scissors. Do not come here.Service: Haircut
