absolutely terrible experience, me and my friends went in the store to look around and chill, we sat down on one of the chairs for literally 5 seconds and this middles aged white lady comes strutting towards us (her name is nj norma jean) she has glasses and short brunette hair. but besides the point we sat down for 5 seconds and she came to us and was extremely rude and told us to get out. we weren’t disrupting anyones shopping just simply minding our own business. it was my 3 friends, the three of us are african american. we didn't think it was racially motivated but we told our two white friends that were hanging out with as well to go in there and sit down and see what would happen, so they went in and atleast 5 minutes pass and nothing happens, so i walk in to see what was up and the minute i do she pops the corner and proceeded to scold me and say she would call security on me. very racially motivated and i hope she gets fired.

I believe the worker here named Nj or full name Norma jean is racist. My friends and I were at the mall enjoying our time and we split up, my friends that are people of color had went into this store and sat down for a second then this woman Nj norma Jean came up to them and told them if they wanted somewhere to sit then they could go outside, me and my friend I split up with had just came back and they were obviously angry about her doing this because they hadn't done anything wrong in that store. Me and my friend (both of us white) went into the store and sat down on some of the chairs no problem at all we also seen two other people sitting down (white) no problem with them sitting either right, me and my friend (white) get our other friend (black) to come in the store and sit with us since it obviously wasn't a problem now so when she had came in Norma jean came up to us and told us to get out and sit somewhere else, my friend said to the other people that were sitting right across from us said "and it isn't a problem for them to sit there but its a problem when we do it" and Norma jean said "they're paying customers" they we're literally just sitting and staring not talking to anyone of the employees so basically we all had gotten up to go leave and she had said "if you don't leave ill call security on you guys" we didn't do anything at all for her to do that but apparently since we sat we aren't "customers" but the other people that aren't talking or doing nothing are. Norma Jean you really need to get your act together you are a raging woman and i don't get how you work there still with all your attitude, you are by far the worst employee to ever walk the earth. I have pictures of the other white people sitting and not doing anything.

I absolutely give 5 stars to Rosalie Jones, who helped us to make a great choice of sofa we bought at Pottery Barn in Cherry Hill, NJ BUT... that's what we found when it was delivered

The "Manager" of this store definitely needs a customer service 101, and learn how to stay humble in her life. She was rude and when I tried to explain to her little brain that her attitude was not right she really went above and beyond her rudeness. If someone is looking to understand why customer prefer to buy online....here the reason...hire and train your employees.

The middle aged brunette woman with glasses that frequently is working the register is consistently rude to me every time I go to return anything .I had my wedding registry through pottery barn and it was always an absolute nightmare and hassle to return anything at this store. She acts like YOU are the burden. Recently, I went to return an online order and I was told because I pushed “return” on the website and it generated a shipping label, that I would need to print the shipping label in order to return this in store. I immediately called pottery barn customer service when I got back to my car and they confirmed that this was an untrue statement .I am never returning to this store. I’m sick of this woman’s attitude , she really should not be working in customer service or at least not at a place where customers are spending a lot of money on home goods and furniture. You might as well stick with target if there is any risk you may need to return the product .

I purchased the Acre dresser. A striking new piece from PB. The outside is lovely. The inside wood is completely unfinished. I have to sand and finish it myself. The inside front panel on the drawers is rough enough to scratch you. From PB I was disappointed in the quality of the finish.

Oh gosh! The associates in here don't care about their customers at all. No saying "Hi", no saying "Need help with anything?" If you have a question we have to go find them. When you do it, they act like you bother them !? They just chitchat with each other.

Pottery Barn has provided some of the worst customer service that I ever experienced. On the final estimated day that my delivery was to occur, it was still listed as "preparing to ship." Since I would be away soon after the estimated delivery date, I called to get clarification as to when it actually will be delivered so that I could be assured that I was home. At this moment, I have been on the phone for an hour and 25 minutes and transferred to four different departments. In the middle of one of my conversations with one of the representatives from scheduling, I was cut off and transferred. Please avoid Pottery Barn at all costs. While their products may be solid, it is unknown if they will be delivered and if you have a problem with an order be prepared to spend your entire day on hold and aimlessly transferred between departments.

I have always loved Pottery Barn's style and products but I have had the worst customer service and experience with purchasing my living room furniture. My couch was order, canceled (by Pottery Barn store), reorder, backordered (5 months later) and then the loveseat was lost at the dock (total time 7 months). On the day of delivery not ONE CUSTOMER SERVICE OR SUPERVISOR called me to notify me that they lost the loveseat. PB Dock called after delivery to apologize. Not to mention the backordered entertainment center that was to be delivered without the couch ended up waiting at the warehouse for 4 weeks (waiting for my backordered couch).I get all the supply and demand challenges the pandemic has created but where Pottery Barn has failed the most is CUSTOMER SERVICE and RECOVERY. No one owns their failures at Pottery Barn. Not one customer service individual has authority to make any decisions. And why they are all kind on the phone nothing every changes or gets done, nor will they escalate you to a supervisor. It's always the same response, "I have to send an email and ask for that request." It goes into the email void, never to be heard from again. I've had case managers assigned to my furniture. I have found it difficult to get a hold of them nor do they follow up. It's always me driving the process. I'm still dealing with issues. They still haven't released the full credit to my card and I don't even have possession of the couch. They picked up the bumper, corner and chase. I never had possession for the loveseat and yet there it is still on my Pottery Barn credit card. You ask for assistance and again it's, 'we will send and email.' I do not recommend this company at all for furniture.

We ordered 4 large pieces of living room furniture back in March. We are still waiting, 9 months later, for 2 Jake leather love seats. I don’t recommend ordering any furniture unless you have a good year to wait. Also, they did deliver the chaise sofa but sent the wrong size. We have now been waiting 4 months for the correct size replacement piece. It’s been a mess and we are living without furniture in our living rooms
