The staff and services here have always been stellar. From blood work to scans and just general checkups, it's always efficient and friendly.

I was seeing a wonderful sleep physician since March with know issues. A day before my previous appointment, Tracey from registration called and said I need a referral or i cant have my appointment. I asked why are you calling me the day before my appointment and not back in March? She said she didn't have a answer. So I called my insurance company and asked them, and they said they would at least pay 80 percent. Tracy called back and said unless I pay 170 dollars my appointment must be cancelled. I told her I want to speak with her supervisor, but she never called back, her name is Glenny. I called her left her messages but has refused to call back.
Horrible treatment for a patient receiving weekly medical treatment, and also prescribed new medications. I also called the sleep center twice took all my information, and no one has ever called back. Trying to find out how to proceed with this further!
This is a response to to the owners message, instead of giving some ridiculous website to try and get into, why wouldn't you have a hospital staff call directly, obviously all my contact information is in my chart. This is much more serious than a billing problem.!!

Rain or Shine Be Kind:
Sat July 13th at 7:07 AM, I received a text requesting a call from my daughter, she expressed being told that lab walk-ins are not done at this location especially on Saturday. The words expressed with judgmental condescension was upsetting.
This patient & family were unaware of new changes.
I signed into myPenn Medicine at 7:25am out of curiosity to see what was available if I were to schedule a lab, I was offered a same day appointment Sat July 13th at 7:45. My daughter had already taken her leave before I could reach her with this solution towards an expressed mandatory appointment. An opening was available which made the haughty hostile apathy more offensive. The Front Desk staff member was a dismissive & needlessly unkind curvy woman with a braided up bun, seasoned enough in years to know better.
*This location is a favorite for several Health maintenance services which makes this experience that I have recorded well, a huge disappointment.
A patient under recovery from a double surgery in need of labs related to progress of ongoing care, on a rainy day, should Never have been treated with such hostility & Apathy, towards efforts to survive.
*I still recommend this location because a lack of kindness & unwillingness to assist, is not the norm for this team. It is clean, the service is usually professional & efficient, and the staff is usually supportive impartial friendly & kind.
Our family always leaves with a smile and a confident willingness to return.
My daughter & I have both scheduled needed labs and will pay attention to how we are treated on that upcoming visit. I don't care for writing this type of review but it is a way to support Keeping Quality Care in our Communities.

My wife and I have been going to this practice for about 4 years. We've had a few scheduling issues in the past and had to utilize urgent care a few times, but things happen. Today was the last straw. My wife scheduled a physical MONTHS ago that is required for her continued employment. The appointment is this Thursday. Penn just called her to let her know that the appointment is cancelled and she can't get in to see any other providers for weeks. And if she goes to a different location, it would be as a new patient so the wait is even longer. No option whatsoever to see someone else this week for a routine physical exam. We are now done with this practice and will be finding new providers that don't overschedule.

I hate Penn Medicine. Despite my serious health concerns, they have consistently failed to take them seriously. I've had my appointments canceled THREE times already, and it's incredibly frustrating. It feels like they don't care about their patients at all. When you try to reschedule they don't have any appointments for months and always early in the morning so you have to call out of work.
Trying to establish a connection with a doctor here is actually impossible and I'm done trying. Either they cancel appointments the day before, or the doctor quits, leaving me to start over from scratch and having to explain my health issues to a new doctor and hoping they listen. It's disheartening and unprofessional. I can't trust this office with my healthcare needs anymore. They simply don't seem to care about their patients' well-being.

I find this Penn location convenient and my experiences have been mostly positive.
The infusion nurses are especially nice.
The patient portal is worthwhile once you get used to it. They are busy, and there is sometimes a wait for doctor/nurse but very thorough and will find answers to questions about treatment.
The only thing I find annoying is the (too many) phone reminders from pharmacy.

The employees in this pharmacy are amazing. They are on top of all scripts.
Jeff is excellent and answers all questions without hesitation and so very polite as are all his peers.

I saw a neurosurgeon yesterday. He was fine. I was told a week previous to my visit to fax all my records and testing to them so they could scan them in to my file. The scheduler told me that the docs like to go over records a couple of days before your appointment. Nothing was ever scanned in to my file. Good thing I brought copies of everything with me. I had to go through questions with the medical assistant, the PA, and then the doctor. None of them knew what I was there for because the staff never did their job with my records. I used to be a Penn patient, but I left because the staff was horrible in Woodbury Heights and Cherry Hill. I only went because I was referred to see a neurosurgeon that is in Penn. Penn is not like they used to be.

I don’t understand why I can't directly call my Primary Care Physicians Office here. You have to go through 6 different menu options to then speak to someone who isn't even located at PennMed Cherry Hill. That person then sends a message to your PCPs office that will be read within 4 hours. It is absolutely ridiculous that I can't actually talk to anyone in the office when I'm trying to be seen for a sickness. It's also ridiculous that my call doesn't have to be answered for 4 hours. I'm switching out of this practice ASAP.

This location is amazing, easy access off of a main highway. The facility was clean, the staff were helpful, respectful and professional. The Ambassador Manny, was of great help to me. Definitely worth the drive from my city I will be returning to this location for my health care needs. If you want to be treated with dignity and respect and have the everyday conveniences this is your place!

I was surprised by the poor reviews I read and almost canceled my appointment as a result. And while I can definitely see how patients could experience issues because this location is VERY busy, both of my visits here were as positive as can be expected. Everyone I dealt with was extremely nice, and I was brought in either early or exactly on time for both of my appointments. Maybe experiences vary depending on what department you are there to be seen by, but mine (with the Breast Center and Radiology) were pretty flawless. Definitely do the online pre-check in to save yourself some time.
