My husband and I have seen Dr. Hanely for many years. He is thoughtful, concerned and follows up with us if he sees any problems . I highly recommend him and the nurses and doctors who work at Penn Medicine Cherry Hill.

I usually don’t leave reviews like this but I’ve had the worst experience with this office and the Cherry Hill office. I wasted 6 months of my time constantly rescheduling appointments because they’re randomly getting canceled. Don’t even bother scheduling with Doctor Kelly Sanders her schedulers are a terrible and unprofessional. Just be aware Center city and Cherry Hill location will be constantly blaming scheduling mistakes on one another.

The woman Crystal that answered the phone is very rude. She does not allow people to speak, and speaks over people. When requesting to speak with the Doctor or anyone aside from her, she claims that is not ever a possibility. She claims that the Doctor will never speak over the phone with me due to them having patients at all hours and times, as well as having various other things to do. She may have had an off day, but to hang up on someone, speak over them, and just be as rude as she was should never be the case. She should not work the phone, this is my opinion. I hope it was just an off day and that should I need to contact the doctors office again I can speak with someone that is calmer and a bit more respectful.

I am scheduled for spinal fusion with Virtua and I wanted the second opinion of a neurosurgeon. I tried with Penn Medicine because it is affiliated with Virtua. I was interviewed for intake for over an hour to determine which neurosurgeon would be best. The next day a different person called and told me I had to be screened for an appointment. The person was curt and completely lacked compassion. NEVER AGAIN will I seek help from Penn Medicine - Cherry Hill.

Mostly for Alexine Froissard NPI recently became a patient at Penn Family Medicine Cherry Hill in May 2020. From the first call to find a primary and see if they take my insurance, I have been so impressed! It’s such an ease of scheduling appointments and I always get an appointment immediately! Every single person in the office is extremely nice and polite! They answer you instantly every time! Dr. Lexi herself is so nice and friendly! She really listens to you, is very through, explains everything to you step by step, and is so smart! She truly cares about you and goes out of her way to personally call you when you aren’t feeling well. I’m so happy I found her! Dr. Lexi and Penn medicine is my new FOREVER provider! If you’re looking for a primary I highly recommend Dr. Lexi!! Oh and she has a really great medical assistant, Deborah too!!Timothy Bayruns at Good Shepherd Penn Partners at Cherry Hill is amazing as well!! Definitely worth my co-pay plus some!! He really listens to you and knows everything!! He’s the best physical therapist around for TMJ issues! My first appointment was long and he even brought out a textbook and explained everything from muscles to blood vessels to joints; how they worked etc! It was great to learn more about my issues but even better because I love medical stuff and he went above and beyond!

I cannot imagine a cleaner or better run facility. Residents of South Jersey are blessed to have every Penn Medicine facility here. I have used this facility a dozen times, and always been thrilled to have the opportunity to go there as opposed to having to travel into the city. Not only is it closer, but parking is easy and it's much less complicated to get done whatever job you need done. Those who would argue to the contrary are either simply looking for something about which to complain or perhaps suffered an unfortunate anomaly.

New Patient's beware! I requested a a wellness appointment for my husband and I, and have to wait 3 months to be seen. My husband and I had back to back appointments to establish care with a new doctor. His appointment was first and then mine. At my appointment I brought some of my more significant medical history with me (Skin Cancer) to provide to the doctor. We discussed the rest of my medical history and that is the end of the appointment. Fast forward to 2 months later when I get a bill for over 400 dollars for my wellness visit, while my husbands wellness visit was covered in full. When i call up the insurance carrier they said that the codes the Penn Medicine submitted for my appointment were illness/diagnosis codes for a Squamous cell Carcinoma. I explained to the insurance company that that was a review of a previous diagnosis and treatment that was handled by a different doctor, 3 years ago. They advised me to call the doctors office and ask them to review the file. My insurance carrier and I got on the phone with the billing department to dispute the code. They sent it for review. Again it came back saying that there was a diagnosis for Skin Cancer and they stand by their original billing. When I asked them to review it a third time, and look at the paperwork the doctor had included in my file, they would see that there was no present diagnosis for skin cancer. The paperwork was from 2015. I even gave them the correct Z code to use to classify the visit correctly. (my good friend does medical coding) . I spoke to the billing manager and asked that the manager followup with me when the review was completed. Well that was 4 months ago and I never received a call. It has been over 11 months since my original appointment and yesterday I received the same bill for over $400. All for a skin cancer, Penn Medicine and the doctor, did NOTHING about. NO DIAGNOSIS, NO TREATMENT! The Doctor never even looked at the site where the cancer was! This is nothing short of a complete exploitation of the medical system and I consider this insurance fraud. They are making the insurance and I pay twice for something they never diagnosed or treated me for. I will NEVER go there again and do not recommend this place to new patients.

I have been a patient with Penn Family Medicine since their inception, and with their lead doctor since 1991. I have experienced the most horrific unprofessional behavior from this office over the past couple weeks, quickly eroding my trust and respect with a team that I have been with for so long, and sadly leading me to write this scathing review. I am fortunately NOT a frequent patient, and see doctors when/as necessary. I had an EXTREME acute medical situation occur the past 3 weeks. During a most challenging health scare, I have been told that “our nurse will not talk to you about your prescription unless you make an appointment”, to “let Labcorp figure it out”, to “if needed, you can go see a {medical specialist}”. If needed? They are the team I am turning to help me know if/when I need to see a specialist! When I asked, multiple times, they could not/would not give the name of a specialist for me to contact, leaving me to figure EVERYTHING out on my own. Nothing could be more true than YOU HAVE TO BE YOUR OWN ADVOCATE when it comes to healthcare. When you cannot count on your long-time medical team during an extreme situation, then it’s time to find a new medical team.

Penn Medicine is amazing! Everything has been exceptional when I take my mom there for her infusions. The woman at the front desk, Denise, was extremely sweet and helpful today in getting my mom in as quick as possible. Every nurse I have encountered in the last two years has been very helpful, sweet and attentive. Thank you all for being so amazing!

Let's just talk about how Penn Medicine is different than a standard doctors visit. I found that every doctor here genuinely cares about you -- they aren't trying to rush you out or ignore you. Everyone sincerely wants you to get better. I appreciate how not only do they have digital health records, but it also can sync up with your iPhone's Health app. I also appreciate how they try their hardest not to overbook you and have you in the waiting room for as short as possible. I'm docking a star though because they're growing and hiring a lot of relatively new & younger doctors. I personally prefer a younger doctor since, well, I'm young too. But if you are coming with a condition or illness that you think is rare or requires more diagnosis, you might want to keep this in mind and make sure you are assigned to someone who's more likely to have 'been there and done that' so to speak. Still, I love Penn Medicine and my entire medical team there. I strongly recommend them!

Penn Medicine has a great outpost here. The building is new and state of the art. It houses a variety of medical offices. The check in process was smooth. Waiting areas are bright and well lit with comfortable seating. Exam rooms were also nice. There is a small cafeteria and seating on the first floor. I was able to find a small private space to make a phone call. There's lots of free parking. It was easy to get to from Philadelphia.

Most of the time I write reviews of restaurants, bars, breweries, and coffee shops. This time I will write about a medical provider. Penn Medicine is light-years beyond any regular doctor's office that I have visited closer to home. Their doctors are scholars and are thus at the top of their game. They tend to get the diagnosis correct and not just scratch their heads. The check-in experience is way better, too. You get a private booth, so that your HIPAA-sensitive information is not shared with the whole waiting room. I get so annoyed with busy doctor's offices where the grouchy receptionist just pushes a clipboard towards me with a grimace on his or her face. Not here. They introduce themselves by name. Then they send you up to the color-coded area upstairs, and you don't have to check in again. You get seen ON-TIME! Then all your medical information stays in the Penn Medicine database, so your cardiologist can easily see your blood test results that your primary ordered. You can also see everything in your Mypennmedicine patient portal. They are in-network with my insurance. I don't know whether that applies to you. But other than driving a little farther to get there, it is totally worth it for me to come here. The Cherry Hill location helps me a lot because then I don't have to schlep all the way into Philly. The parking is easier here, too, and you don't have to pay for it. Their Route 70 location in Cherry Hill is extremely central.
