Terrible experience. First off, the gym is dirty as all hell. I literally was in the hot tub a week ago and saw ANTS walking next to the hot tub.. I told the guy at the front desk about this and he thanked me for telling him and told me he would tell ownership but nothing has changed since (I’m not blaming him I’m sure ownership just didn’t do anything about it). Their equipment is also very minimal compared to similar gyms in the area. I just switched to XL fitness and found out their monthly fee is $42/month and this one I am getting charged $44. It’s not about the $2 difference but what the hell am I paying that much for when XL fitness is twice if not close to triple the size of this facility? Id rather drive an extra 10 minutes to go to XL fitness than go to this place. Also, I like to consistently lift weights and swim laps in the pool as cardio but their pool hours are a joke. The swim team is there from 5-9:30 4 days of the week. How is this fair to members who are paying and have to work a 9-5? The only thing I liked about this place was that it was 10 minutes from my house, but like I said I’d rather compromise and drive an extra 10 minutes. Needless to say I cancelled my membership about a week ago

I am a member from 2018, started in Berlin went to the one in Sewell after they closed it and after that closed down i started going to Medford Two reasons i drive for an hour to go is #1 i enjoy my instructors class so a big thank you to Mary and second i can enjoy the hot tub after my class, unfortunately I just found out that the new owner is closing it down. Due to injury I can't exercise on the regular gym. Even though I can only go do the pool 2ice a week after work the hot tub really help with the motivation

I joined in October for the pool and to rehab from a cardiac event. The pool is the best part of this facility. Dan does a great job maintaining the pool and so far no problem getting a lane first thing in the morning. The rest of the facility is poor at best. The roof leaks and all they do is scatter empty trash cans to catch the water. All the equipment is dated and not well maintained. Many early mornings they don't even turn on all the lights. I have had to bring a flashlight to see in the pool locker room several times. There is no where to fill a water bottle in the facility. Having been a member at Virtua for years this was been a real adjustment!

I joined this gym many years ago - when it was nice. It was clean, had good machines & the staff was friendly. Over the years, it was bought, sold, bought, etc, and it went down hill big time. The current owners, Kennedy Fitness, are the worst. When some of Kennedy Fitness' other gym facilities closed, they brought the old machines to the facility in Medford. It now looks like an overcrowded storage building for old, outdated gym equipment. Additionally, a number of machines don't work - & stay that way, even after telling staff they need to be repaired. The place is dirty. The televisions are either broken or have been removed. The roof leaks, the water fountain doesn't work, and the cleaning supplies that members are supposed to use are often empty. The manager is terrible. The only bright spot in this gym is the lady at the front desk in the early morning. I put my gym account on hold. I heard there may be new owners purchasing the gym. BTW - I never receive emails from this gym, so this is hearsay. If I hear things have improved, I may return.

I paid $974.99 at the Sewell location, in September of 2022. This provided a year’s worth of monthly membership, with a $30.92 monthly rate thereafter. At the end of May 2023, the Sewell location closed. When inquiring about a pro-rata refund multiple times, I was not able to get management to respond until I filed a complaint with the BBB and a credit card dispute. Their only offer was a membership transfer (to a location 25 minutes from my home). Although there was talk of opening a new Sewell location, nothing ever came through. You can get all of the same services, and then some, for the same $30 rate at Esporta/LAFitness — without the hefty initiation fee. Plus, you get access to all of their facilities around the country. Beware of this establishment. Management does not do right by its members.Take a look at the attached images from the Mullica Hill location — the facility and machines aren’t even kept clean.01/05/2024 EDIT for Response:Please see my review on the KF Mullica Hill page. This facility is managed by the same organization, and one should be aware of management’s behavior before committing to this location.

I have been a member for 18 years. The gym is a good size and I like the social aspect of knowing some of the members. Other than that, it has consistently gone downhill in the last 4-5 years. The cardio equipment is old and most times a good number of machines do not work properly or at all. The roof leaks are a joke, not to mention an accident waiting to happen and never repaired. The sauna and steam room are out or order. The floor is rarely if ever vacuumed in the machine area or cardio room. The night crew does not seems to arrange things as in the morning there are weights and equipment all over the place. The water fountain only works 50% of the time, supposedly when they are filling the pool water is scarce. My guess is that ownership and management do not really care or do not know how to change the current situation.A little pride and TLC would help....

Would give it 0 stars if I could. Rude staff and manager. Mediocre facilities and make you jump through ridiculous hoops to cancel. Don’t waste your money.

This is the worst gym I’ve been a member of. Go to Medford Fitness or spend the extra money and time to go to the Lifetime in Mt. Laurel off of Church Road. I feel that it’s also the most unsanitary gym I’ve ever expetienced.

the place if filthy, the cardio room is freezing- they turn on the heat when they want to, the machines are old as can be . The weights have seen better days. if you are looking to join a gym, go elsewhere. The management is not only incompetent, but doesn't know what she is doing. I cancelled and they still charged me claiming I need to sign another form. they don't care about you period.

Big gym with a pool and two dedicated aerobics rooms, a big space for classes and a room for spinning classes. Front desk people are friendly. Locker rooms are basic and dated, but clean and functional. One of the aerobics rooms has an extreme HVAC problem, so it is freezing, about 60 degrees all winter. Large area with weight with machines and free weights. But...they have too much of a good thing, plus the ethos is such that members and staff never seem to rack their weights, so there are plates and ropes and kettle bells strewn everywhere. Their problems are easily fixed, yet....

Horrible business, not available to service you. Bite by a wasp and spider and the establishment that should of closed kept open did care or even compensate for an hardship. Oh yeah I had a witnessed a anaphylactic shock to this, & still no apology. This was only one problem I had here. Where to even begin. Take your business elsewhere folks. They charged you top dollar for all the gyms the closed on you at the same time for a reason!

The good: Nice staff, good classes (pool, Zumba). Mixed clientele (all ages, races). The bad: Filthy. Wish I'd taken advantage of a free pass before signing up and committing to this gym. A lot of the weight machines are really old. The free weights look like they are about 30 years old and have never been cleaned. The women's bathroom is grungy and the soap dispensers aren't hooked up, so if you want soap you need to dip your hand in a communal dispenser (no thanks). The shower doors are see-through, so if you have any modesty, you're out of luck. Basically, a depressing experience.

All in all this is a wonderful gym. Plenty of machines, weights, etc. it is a commute for me, but I know I will always get a good workout in. The staff are kind and helpful too.If I had anything negative to say it would be about the lack of cleanliness and that it isn’t a 24 hour gym for the price of membership.

I've been a member here for 20 years. I strength train and they have what I need. Friendly staff and they are always cleaning. They need to put up signs with gym etiquette and do a better job with new member orientation. My issues are usually with other members not following simple gym rules. If we had signs we could just point to them when people are out of line.
