I filled my sons taxes with H&R Block Mount Laurel, NJ office for the year 2022 and after checking for weeks on the IRS website it indicating that there was no record of his return. I then reached out to my H&R office and was told that the state of NJ indicated, through a website, that my son's taxes were not submitted and that I will have to call or go to the state of NJ in Trenton to prove that his taxes were filed MYSELF. I get that the state of NJ is to blame but what is the benefit of paying H&R Block for a service when they don't handle issues like this as a company. Why doesn't H&R Block have employees to handle issues like this. They should be able to talk to the state employees on the phone and resolve the issue for the customers. Explain to me the benefit of paying to file with H&R Block when I can do it myself, it's not rocket science?! I have been a customer of H&R Block for years and this year the office environment was one of anger and irritation. The true test of a good company is not how they handle day to day business but it's how they handle controversy.

My tax preparer Lynn Kratz at the rt 70 Cherry Hill NJ office was so rude to me for being questioned about her lack of response to my questions sent via online. She responded to what she wanted to. So when I went in to sign and pay. She was rude and stated she didn't receivemy messages and when i showed her she stated " can we move on" I'm like no you'reproviding me with a service and im paying, I wanted to come prepared rather unprepared. I will never use her again, which is sad because I have used her for many years.Truly a very unsatisfied customer

Staff was friendly and the process going in was simple and seamless. my wife and I received no updates as to when our taxes would be ready and we received zero calls as to what was good and not good with our info/expenses to maximize a return. Definitely difficult having a child and purchasing a home. We will not go back to them,
