I was in this store yesterday with my 2 kids, just browsing because we’re undergoing a whole house renovation and I wanted to get some inspiration. They had what I assume was a plain clothed security guard, who followed us around the entire store as if I was going to steal something. First of all, he didn’t need to be in plain clothes because he wasn’t very discreet and it was painfully obvious he was following us through the store. And also, what did they think I was going to do, walk out with a damn sofa strapped to my back? I was looking at furniture for gods sake. It left a horrible impression on me and over the years I’ve shopped a lot in store and online at crate & barrel. I’ll never look at a thing of theirs again!

What a bunch of snobs! It seems customer service is trained to act in a certain way. Service is literally non-existent. Went looking for a few pieces of furniture, but due to the severly poor service, I decided not to purchase anything. Crate & Barrel, you can do better!!!!

Honestly you’d get more reliable service at the IKEA basement hotdog stand. I strongly recommend against shopping here. I purchased a piece three weeks ago; after booking the delivery four times, the item still has not been delivered. They did show up one of the times, but the piece was badly enough damaged that the delivery guys said, “someone should be fired for sending this with us.” The fourth scheduled delivery day is tomorrow, but I’m not hopeful. They’re supposed to call the day before to inform you of a “non-negotiable” delivery window. No call, text, or email — I assume they’re not coming.
To the store’s credit, they have refunded me the delivery fee. But that doesn’t do me any good when I still don’t have the furniture! They’ve been somewhat brusque with me over the phone, and I’m starting to think a refund might be the only way out of this mess.

Janell from crate and barrel cherry hill is the absolute best. We got the tour plate set on my registry and it got so scratched after minimal use. I came in there seeking assistance from professional, and she gave me all of her knowledge on all of the Crate & Barrel dinnerware sets and was the biggest help I could’ve asked for. She made that experience incredible after having a terrible customer service phone call with Crate & Barrel.

Staff here needs more training. When I clearly needed help and had eye contact with the staff here, they just stood there. The cashier also made a couple mistakes. It felt unprofessional.

this store lacks customer service, the African American manager is truly horrible, she walks around with a chip on her shoulder as if she is the queen and never even steps foot to assist the customers it’s “hi how are you” and then she will probably send an associate to come stalk you after. Janell, the associate is absolutely amazing she will go above and beyond while also remembering your name, previous purchases, and also help you find more items you didn’t even know you needed. Veronica, who is typically there on Friday’s in the bedding section she’s absolutely amazing. With that being said, there are 2 or 3 good associates other than that this place is truly trash. As a card holder, and someone who is always spending money at this location deserves better and will continue to leave bad reviews until it gets better.

Purchased >$10k of goods over the summer with an instore shopping experience at Cherry Hill location. The purchase included a rug. In the process sales associate made no mention that this rug was extremely delicate and for low traffic areas despite explanation of daily living room usage with dog. Carpet has quickly fallen apart. Complete waste of $2k as it will likely need to be thrown out in a year at this pace.Terrible training of employees at this location. Went to customer service to see if anything could be done. Was told store would call me. Scott the store manager left me a voicemail last week offering me 10% off a new purchase. What a complete F U when you get 15% for putting in a new email address. So, an incompetent sales staff and a Store Manager offering terrible customer service. Suggest doing your shopping at Arhaus. Much higher quality offerings with superior customer service, sales staff.In response to the store below:You have made my point. We came to the store looking for assistance on a purchase with the help from your sales associate. We explained what we were looking for and our living situation. Your sales associate was clearly untrained in your products and recommended the product to us! We shouldn't be required to know the details when making an in-store purchase when your employees are helping with the sale. That is for the SA to help the customer with. We were in the store for hours picking out furniture. This is a failure on your team's part to help customers make informed buying decisions.

They have such great furniture here! I love how easy it is to shop and they let you take home fabric samples and will help you make your order after if you're on the fence on colors!

Stay Away!I purchased a bed on September 1st. I had to call customer service multiple times to update my shipping address and still had to call on the morning of the delivery October 26th because it was being delivered to the old address. All I received was an incorrect headboard. Customer service told me it was a warehouse mispick and that the warehouse couldn't find my correct order. The bed is now backordered until mid December and I can't get it until then. This bed was in stock when I ordered it.Customer service scheduled a pickup for the wrong headboard and still had the old address! I had to call again to tell them they need to pick up the wrong headboard from my new address, and they ended up cancelling the pickup. So now I have a big headboard taking up space in my apartment that I never ordered.I've had to call customer service so many times it makes my head spin. They are nice, but ultimately the service being provided to me is terrible. I haven't been offered any compensation for having to wait 3+ months for this bed or the multiple times I've had to call to update my address.I would not advise anyone to order from Crate & Barrel due to the awful service.
