Had an escalating problem and the specialist they referred me to in their cooper system wanted to see me in five months. Then hung up on me when I said no thanks. Found a specialist through my insurance for an appointment the next day. I’ve gotten the impression for awhile they have more patients than they need and don’t care before but this was the worst of it.

Called for ultrasound results and the idiot whom answered the phone was incapable of transferring me to an educated party that could give me my results. At this point Im just gonna roll the bones and hope this growth isnt cancerous. If they cant transfer a call effectively, theres no way in hell Im trusting them with ANY sort of treatment.

Minimal wait time for appointment. Doctors answer questions and provide information about patient concerns. Parking in front is tight, more parking in back of building but sometimes very few parking spots available. Lab and most routine xrays can be done at same location which makes it easier then having to go to a different facility for tests. Other tests like MRI or ultrasound must be scheduled by appointment but routine xrays do not need appts

Ive only ever written good reviews in the past, but here at Cooper I have been treated with the least amount of care. I missed two appointments. First one was totally my fault as I messed up the time. Second time, I showed up on time, but by the time I was checked in it was ONE minute over the accepted grace period of 10 minutes so they cancelled my appointment again. You would think third times the charm. Front desk tells me they set up my appointment for July 14th at 9:20 am and I will not receive a confirmation. I call at 9 to confirm as I am sitting in the parking lot (i made sure to get there extra early this time) only to find out that my appointment was cancelled by the office without any warning, call or notification. This whole time I have been met with coldness and quite frankly rudeness by multiple front desk employees. When I asked to speak to a higher up of some form I was told they were not in the office and not able to assist me. I really don’t understand how a doctor’s office is able to cancel appointments without any notice of any kind. I am extremely disappointed and will not be working with Cooper again in the future.

They don't care about their patients. They pushed my appt back TWO MONTHS and wouldn't see me when I really needed to be seen for an ultrasound. Just said go to the ER because their appointments are all booked.

I have never written a Google review and I have been a patient at this office for over 20 years but will be switching after the past week. I had a medication switched in June and was due for a refill last week. When I went to pick up the script it was declined. Apparently when I went for a follow up visit the clinician did not take the time to read my chart and double prescribed my medication when I did not need a refill. I called last Thursday and spoke to someone who assured me they would fix the problem and get back to me. They did neither. I went to the pharmacy who resubmitted the claim which was denied again. No one from the office seemed to notice or to call me to fix the problem. I called again monday and spoke to another person who said they would fix the problem and call me back. Again they did neither. I had to take time off work to physically go into the office today and spoke to the LPN who was very nice and assured me she had called in the correct script but when I went to the pharmacy again tonight it was sent to the wrong pharmacy. I never had a problem with Cooper before but first, they wrote a script that was never sent, then despite multiple contacts didn’t fix the issue or get back to me as I was told they would and when I finally went in on my own time the disorganization

Beware, Dr. Ramirez resorts to surgery way too fast and will say that surgery is the end of the road or your last resort. For me, it was not. I left Dr. Ramirez after declining another surgery and my new doctor ordered a test immediately and found what was causing my problems, on the 1st visit. Dr. Ramirez jumps to surgeries WAY TOO FAST. BEWARE!!!!

Dr. Miller is the worst doctor I have ever experienced in my life. Rude, nasty, and does not care or listen to her patients. Instead of directly speaking to me she has her receptionist call me with passive aggressive, nasty notes she leaves. She put me on a medication then did not have any openings for months so when my refills ran out she cut me off of it. I have tried multiple times to see her to get back on it and either no one contacts me back or she has nothing open. Then she claims I was a no show, and has all of these rude things to say in her notes that she has her receptionist read out to me. I have never in my life encountered a doctor like her- SO unprofessional. She let me go off my meds and had no openings to see me. So I was forced to go off. If you aren’t a caring person maybe healthcare isn’t for you. However, the woman who called me was extremely kind and sweet and was happy to calm me down and actually talk to me like a human. I really appreciated that.

I have been going to Cooper for years. My first bad experience was about a year ago when I had major complications with my copper IUD for 3 years and the doctor straight up refused to take it out. Flash forward to today, I find out amazing news, I'm pregnant(after being told I could have trouble due to iud complications. I called to book an appointment not only was the nurse I spoke to unprofessional she wouldn't be able to book me an appointment for 2 1/2 months. Pregnant women need care from the start not 4 months into their pregnancy. They obviously don't have enough availability or staff to care for all their patients properly as I also have booking problems with their pediatrics office. This experience today has made me never want to visit another Cooper establishment again. Very rude and unprofessional do better Cooper.

Poor clinical performance might be difficult to assess but in general any action or inaction by a nurse that puts a patient’s welfare at risk must be addressed.
Each nurse—including office manager(s), doctors in charge— has the responsibility to ensure nurses are competent to practice nursing.
In my case, the cooper physicians and the office manager on-site at 1103 kings hwy, cherry hill, nj failed to address an serious medical gross misconduct and discriminatory complaint with the LPN (low level) Michelle assigned to Dr. ROY. The nurse and the facility patient relation department concealed her identity, thus, it can not be reported to the State License Board.
Not sure when, the law in New Jersey started to allow an LPN to give poor medical advice to the patients over the phone and without consulting with an Advance RN or the Doctors.
I highly recommend everyone to stay away from all Cooper facilities and the doctors who is letting these nurse make medical decisions for your health. Taking medical advice from a LPN is no different then taking advice from a hospital room cleaning technician or food runner.
Furthermore, don't waste your time with the Patient Relations Representative they are just as useless as their higher chain of commands. They will just get a feedback from you and close your complaint.
