I want to start by saying Jean is an excellent service manager. Our less than satisfied rating had to do with time waiting for information. Our appointment was for 11:30 and we got out of there just before 3:00. Our visit was to inspect the car and check why a notification about emergency brake was displaying. At 1:30 I inquired about where things were with inspection. I was told inspection was done but to clear the emergency brake not available message required a software update that could take less than an hour or more than an hour. We left went to have lunch. When we got back at 12:30. Paperwork was being finished, car was being washed and we left just before 3:00.
This is our first Volvo purchased it was from Carmax with low mileage. There are no Volvo dealers in our area. An hour drive, practically the entire day getting there, getting home and getting serviced. We were just there three weeks ago with a check engine light on. So far the jury’s out this car could be a money pit I think in 30 days we’ve spent close to $3k. We’ve never had these high end electronics. We have purchased low mileage cars from Carmax before with no expense for more than six months. I’m certain we weren’t aware how costly servicing warning lights would be.

I had an excellent buying experience at Cherry Hill Volvo last month. Ezra called me shortly after I looked at a CPO 2021 XC60 on Cherry Hill's website to schedule an appointment for me to see and test drive the car. When I arrived at the dealership, Ezra was ready to show me the XC60, its features, and for me to drive it around.
The buying process was very fast; the car had a good price and they accepted the amount I wanted for my trade-in. Ezra reviewed the add-ons, but he didn't pressure me; I already knew I wanted an extended warranty. I appreciated Ezra asking questions about my bank's preapproval paperwork to ensure Cherry Hill Volvo would send everything correctly to my bank. They sent the documents that afternoon that allowed my bank to fund the loan and a few days later to pay off the loan for my previous vehicle. I didn't experience any issues having my plates transferred to the XC60.
The mail carrier delivered my registration yesterday (I blame them for the delay). Ezra included a hand written note thanking me for choosing them to get the car I wanted.
It was worth the 5-hour drive to Cherry Hill. If any of my friends ever want a Volvo, I will tell them to check out Cherry Hill Volvo to have a great buying experience.
