“Spectacular experience. Great management and employees. I reserved my vehicle simply by calling directly Rent-A-Wreck directly. I called one business day in advance, they did not ask for any money upfront, and there were no problems. Car was excellent, no funny sounds or smells.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Anyone complaining about not getting refunds, booking problems, etc., are probably using Expedia or some other 3rd party system, which has NOTHING to do with Rent-A-Wreck policy.”
“07-02 I am updating my review because the Customer Relations Department redeemed itself. They understood my dispute and gave me credit for the aggravation I went through since June 15th regarding this rental. I extend my upmost appreciation to them.
As for the Manager, Dan and two employees, one named Rosie at the Cherry Hill location, I can see why their office is closing at the end of July. They all lack customer service skills, empathy and professionalism.
Again, kudos to the Budget/Avis Customer Relations Department for knowing I shouldn't have been overcharged for my rental that was returned on time. I gave 5 stars to Customer Relations and zero stars to the Cherry Hill location.

I went to South Jersey to visit my cousin who is in hospice. I rented the vehicle at thi location with ease, or so I thought. It was supposed to be for one day returning it at 9am. When I rented through Expedia, the hours stated 8-noon but when I picked up the vehicle, the male rep advised they open Sunday at 10am. I advised him, I had to catch at 10:25 am busy to NY so he told me to put the key in the middle compartment, whi h I did and locked the door
I get a car when I arrive in NYC asking if I still had the key. I told him, I put the key where he instructed. He told me, that was the only key. Why would you rent me a vehicle with only one key? He told me they had a kit and would open it on Monday and he would close my booking.. I get a call on Monday from this rude woman Rosie asking me for the key. I explained what happened and she states there isn't a kit. She said her Manager would call, Dan Fleming. He never did. On Tuesday, my card is charged $807, then another charge $507. The car was returned Sunday as scheduled so why the charges. I called Expedia who is handling. This location is closing and I see why. They are trying to extort money from my credit card for bogus charges. When I called the location back, this person Rosie pretended she couldn't hear me. I plan to call Corporate for their shorty customer service. I am not paying anything other than my one day rental.”

“I just wanted to appreciate the team that corrected the situation that came up when I was renting my car last week for my trip to Canada. I had a Pacifica that I had reserved for about 2 months. My wife even confirmed by going there the night before but upon our arrival the next day, our reservation was not there. While I was upset, and I asked to escalate the situation to the manager, Cindy, who was working with me, brought his manager out whose name is Joe. In between and between Joe Shakeel and Cindy they all worked together to offer me another car which was different (upgrade) and accommodated my needs. Special demonstration of care by Cindy and also her manager Joe. But Cindy kept me engaged and offered words of care and concern. They still need to have someone answer the phones in day time which is a challenge.”
“Reliable vehicles and great customer service! I always use Enterprise. The only reason I ever consider another car rental company is if Enterprise doesn't have the car I need when I need it.....which rarely happens.
The interior of the cars are always clean but they could do a better job of cleaning the exterior body and windows. Always streaks and spots on the windows.”
