Best place in Chatham- Madison area to shop. Great selection, high quality meats, veggies, and fruits. Good weekly deals. My favorite place to grocery shop. The prices are the same as any ShopRite....cheaper than ACME, Kings, Wholefoods. Great friendly staff, especially the florist. She is the best!

This is a pretty good ShopRite although it's not my weekly go-to Grocery Store but I have stopped in here a few times on my way through Chatham and so far they've always had whatever I was looking for. They've got a decent Prepared Foods section full of quick and easy meal ideas for lunch or dinner, well stocked Frozen Foods, Pantry Items, and a pretty good looking Produce Department. So no complaints to report from any of these things. I will say that they need to do a better job of keeping the aisles clear for people to shop in. I understand product has to get restocked but some of this stuff looks like it's just abandoned in the middle of the aisles so that's definitely not cool. As far as Grocery Stores go it's not bad but it's not great either especially when compared to the other local ShopRites. All things considered this place gets 3 stars from me. We don't need no "Tripping Billies" And That's the Name of That Tune.

Filthy floor, stinks like dead fish, cashiers look like they came off the Bowery, Manager held up by a food basket and uses it like a walker. Fresh food stinks. Canned goods are ok. A really rundown slumlord run store for a nice neighborhood.

On the positive side, the prices are low, the employees are friendly and the aisles are well stocked with a pretty good selection. Meat and produce are always fresh as well. The problem is that the store is old, and the footprint is small so even though they've tried to renovate a few times it just doesn't compare aesthetically to the larger, roomier stores. That said, I'll continue to shop here since the positives outweigh the negatives (and it's only 1 mile from my home!)

This shoprite is one of the best I've been too. The aisle are so organized and clean and stocked well compared to other shoprite as. I can find the items on sale very easily. I will return.

This ShopRite sucks. The selection is horrible and the prices are ridiculously high. Compare this ShopRite with the Greater Morris ShopRite and you wonder why they charge such a premium, hint. They're robbing Chatham residents.

I just want to say this store is huge . The issue is the system they have for pickups for DoorDash etc . It's not a real system if it's broken . Very difficult to maneuver & the staff have attitudes . The women working the customer service though were extremely helpful & i thank them for that .

Pick up service was awful. They charge $5 and didn't honor my $10 coupon due to their own error. Missing items. I worked harder than just going there to shop and I'm out $15

5 cashiers working, I was by myself with $200 of groceries, none of them even helped bagged and they all just talked to eachother while I did it. I'm new to the area and asked for a membership card, the worker sent me to the giftcard rack (even though I told him I wanted the card for the discounts), he then sent me to customer service, where nobody was, so I gave up. They have barely any non-rotten fruits and vegetables, and half of the workers were wearing their masks around their chin.

Zero communication about the shop rite from home process. Sat for 25 minutes waiting and then when I called for status update, the woman on the phone was very curt. I wouldn't mind waiting if I knew what was going on.

Disgusting smell when you walk in....can't seem to get an explanation of what it is..next stop..city health department.
