Good availability and choices on several different things, only problem is that you have to stand in the line for the checkout for longer times as only one cashier is handling 10 people.

Nice place to shop. Everything you need at a cheap price. From 1.50 upwards. Don't watch the name.

Located adjacent to Wal*Mart in Cedar Knolls Plaza (formerly known as the Morris County Mall), One Dollar Zone carries an impressive variety of merchandise in their small space with narrow aisles and cluttered shelves -- including non-perishable foods; tools and hardware; cleaning supplies, office and school supplies; disposable plates / cutlery and storage containers; greeting cards; and party supplies. Prices start at $1 and you'd be very hard-pressed to find an item for more than $5. The quality of the merchandise is more or less what you'd expect at that price point, but I'm occasionally surprised to find brand-name products on the shelves that would sell for two or three times as much (or more) at the big box discount retailer next door. My low review is based primarily on my recent experience in this location when I stopped in to purchase a padded a poly mailing envelope and wound up in a verbal argument with the cashier and his supervisor over the price charged for an item. There was a large handwritten sign taped on the shelf stating "6-Pack Envelopes - $1.50", so I grabbed a 6-pack and walked over to check out. There was no price marked on the package and the cashier turned to a supervisor standing nearby, who said without hesitation that it was $6. I quickly mentioned there was a large sign on the shelf that indicated the price was $1.50 for a 6-pack. The supervisor loudly accused me of lying to her and trying to steal from the store, then said the sign on the shelf wasn't right. When I suggested she take down the sign, she said she wasn't allowed to do that and instructed the cashier to charge me $1.50 for the item. I don't know if the staff was having a bad day but considering their poor attitude towards their customers, I'm not sure I'll return to this location any time soon.

Whew. This used to be one of the better dollar stores around. My last two visits left me feeling depressed: awful selection of really just over-priced garbage. I understand inflation means actual $1.00 isn't going to happen again. But $5.00 is asked for items that aren't even worth $1.25. this store feels like they get the remainders from what other dollar sres can't sell. No point in visiting.

Two people from my family were hospitalized after eating food bought at this store. Tests were done and they found bacteria in the food sample. When staff approached they pretended they didn’t understand.
