Nice and clean I loved there holiday decorations I managed to get some of my holiday food that my shoprite didn't have also the staff was very friendly.

Nice helping staff some at the vegetable. Area stockers , when we go there they don't greet for some customers they greet only certain customers if we wear traditional outfits or hijab though we say good morning they ignore they don't even look at us as if we r not existing I heard the manager is Indian owner is Indian some people working there are info pak the area is multicultural not all store stockers only vegetable fruit stockers especially in the morning time 7 am onwards this is no good manager need to address them and even some customer service staff

Pretty nice place never shopped there but the prices were good and clean place no wait in line to check out and THEY SPEAK CLEEEEAR ENGLISH IF U NEED HELP

Carteret just needs a big stop n shop this shoprite looks very bad here, hospitality is poor if i had to pic 1-10 i would say 4 for trying you don't need nothing but go to woodbridge nj big shoprite if really need it again they need to change this to stop n shop. What they looking for in Carteret for a full change this would be it my opinion

Very busy shopping plaza. I stopped in the local shoprite. The store is big and the shelves were well stocked. The lines moved consistently, and the wait times were not bad, around 6 pm. I brought a cooked chicken leg. It was quite moist and not dry. It was cooked really well and tasted great. I also brought a cold coffee brew and all for under 7 bucks. The store was clean, given the volume of customers. I will go again to shop.

Although I prefer the items in this ShopRite compared to the Woodbridge ShopRite, the register staff in this store are unbelievably rude. Especially the old cranky lady in the self checkout. She's straight up nasty and demeaning, saying that if she wasn't so busy, she would empty out my bags. This is the second time she has annoyed me, because I had more than 30 groceries. Having to pack up your own groceries is very annoying, so I go early in the morning and do it myself. I will never go to Carteret ShopRite again, except to see Angel in the meat department. And maybe annoy the old crabby again when I'm in a bad mood ?
