Have to say after actually just taking a chance and walking into hook. From the moment we stepped on lot we were given respect and room to breath. Gentleman was very patient and gave us options when we were turned away from so many others! I want to say please if u have bad credit and have been judged badly give hook a chance. We got great deal with down payment and even our monthly was way lower than expected!! We even got an extra warranty to cover major issues if any arise, and was very well priced. I wanted to share my review because I don't think all of the others on here give him a chance. The complaints on here I can say myself I didn't experience any issues and will update after 30 days to say how the car is. Again thanks so much Hook Auto! We will be back for a secondary in the future.

OK. We'll start with the good. Very professional and they worked hard to get my deal done at the payment I wanted.The not so good.The after sale service is not so good. Been driving on expired temp tags for a bit now. Still waiting on the parts they promised within 30 days . We're at about 42 now.This is a a case of poor planning and even more poor execution.

We got a 2017 Nissan Altima an two weeks after driving it, we was stuck on the side of the road. I think it was the transmission went out yes they came an got the car it sat another 2weeks so we decided to get our money back. They have a 75% refund on the down payment you put down, they keep so we put 2,000 down an got 400 back but did get out of the contract. Meantime the finance company still calls us for payment! Im saying all this to help someone else. We got another car from drivetime for$260 mo payment compared to $420 from Hook Auto.

Sold a car that did not pass inspection and they will not fix the issue or make it right. Unscrupulous dealer!!!!! They had it set so the check engine lights were not showing until so many miles (within a half hour of driving off the lot after purchase) to hide there was an issue with the car..there are lemon laws in NJ and we will be making sure the state is aware of his fraudulent practices. Do NOT buy from this scamming car dealer!! Buyer beware!!!

Purchased a toyota camry two weeks ago had check engine light come on three days after purchase reported problem dealer said they would fix it for free however i had to pay for the part. After the fix three days later the same code for check engine came back. I took it to another mechanic and was told this car which was supposed to be dependable and reliable and had a oil change and tuneup《dealer words?》 required a catalytic comverter, a tie rod end, valve cover gasket, battery, oil change, tune up. This dealer lied about the car and i got ripped off for 3500 cost of car and 2300 to make it dependable. Avoid this dealer this dealership gives all used car dealerships a bad name.
