Room was not as listed (tiny broken tv). More run down than expected (stains on walls and tub drain broken). Breakfast was good and nice that they offer a GF option. They offered us a different room with the same tiny TV but no tub so we stayed in our room. They also said they would give us a 10% discount but never did.

We visited the Harrison 9/28/23 through 10/1/23. The Harrison was absolutely wonderful. The staff was courteous, caring and thoughtful. We had a family reunion there and all family members were very pleased with their rooms and enjoyed interacting with the staff. The breakfasts were amazing and they were able to accommodate every dietary restriction of our group. They are located within a very easy walk to the beach and shops. It did rain for one day but no worries as they even had umbrellas by the door! The tea time was so fantastic that we would schedule our days around it to be sure we could partake. And, the rocking chairs on the front porch were a wonderful place to sit with our morning coffee. We are looking forward to visiting again!

Beautiful accommodations in a perfect location….cleanliness…attention to details…both 100%
But….best of all…the staff is terrific….professional…courteous…pleasant and willing to go the extra mile to make you feel at home.
Spent two consecutive summer’s vacation at Harrison….looking forward to our next visit in 2024.

We visit Cape May frequently and have stayed at various B&Bs. Our favorite recently became a rental property. I’ve always admired this B& B collection (the lovely website) and thought it would be great to try.
We stayed for three nights. When I stay at a B&B, I expect personal attention and warmth. Otherwise, why pick a B&B? While the staff was friendly, the four-day experience lacked personal attention. It felt commercial and cold.
Our room was TERRIBLE. The Summer Station room has mold on its bathroom ceiling, its chairs are stained and dirty, the rugs as well, the bed was uncomfortably sloping at a considerable angle, and a hole above one of the windows exposed the insulation. Disgusting! Any property owner can see these issues. Yet, they have not been addressed; guests pay more than $500 per night. Not cool.
We loved Cape May and enjoyed great meals and a fantastic beach. However, our choice of The Pharos at The Harrison left us feeling like we had been taken advantage of.
Side note: I provided this feedback to management five days ago. No response.

I had a personal conflict and the hotel supervisor I didn’t catch her name was extremely kind and understanding. I really appreciate the customer service.

We thought this was a great place. Very good service, a delicious breakfast with a nice front porch to eat it on, very close to the beach and all the shops. We had the Summer Cottage. It was clean, comfortable, quiet and private.

We had the most incredible stay for our anniversary. Before we even checked in, Mary the manager was incredibly accommodating. I have a lot of food allergies, and she made sure the entire staff was aware so that I could enjoy breakfast each morning safely. The hotel itself is gorgeous and extremely clean, and perfectly located to the main part of town. We stayed in the Philadelphian room on the third floor of the main building and loved it. We had an absolutely wonderful time and can’t wait to visit again!

We just spent another relaxing and fun few days at the Harrison. We've been going with dear friends for a couple of years now.
Everything was perfect as always. The staff, Jean and Kamala, are so sweet and caring. The food is over the top delicious! What a wonderful treat. We can't wait until we go back! It's our great little get away.

We love Cape May -- this was our first experience at a B&B. It is a beautiful property. Our room was gorgeous. The breakfasts were outstanding. I rated 4/5 because I was anticipating a little more interaction and availability of assistance. Our room was very nice but the way the shower was located in the tub area with water drainage made it very slippery. The tub did not function fully. Coffee pots in the main guest house leaked. Hot water pot didn't work for tea. We had to ask for enough towels for two people multiple times. We stayed over New Year's.

This was our 3rd time we stayed a weekend here and loved it. We had an issue after hours with the hot water, we called the after hours number and it was resolved within the hour. Food great. Very clean

Great rooms, I love tea time. Breakfast is great. The only thing is parking. You have to park in the street. Sometimes it's far away. Two blocks at the most not bad but still.

A total rip off. We booked the Summer Cottage or whatever it's called for two nights over Labor Day weekend. $700 a night for a less than average room at that price. Lesson learned with booking based on their website. After our stay I completed a survey at their request and my review initiated a robo response that my review was not what they hoped and they wanted to reach out to me. Have I received a reach out ?? Of course not, lol. Stay elsewhere. What a dump.

This place is not worth your money. The only good things about it are the food is delicious, most of the staff is friendly and helpful, close to Washington Street Mall, and the place is mostly clean. The rooms have limited storage space. Just one piece of furniture to store clothes and other belongings. The bathroom has no storage space underneath the vanity to store toiletries. There is no phone or phone number to call for help. There is also no staff available after 7 if you need anything. The bathroom floor in our room was old and not very clean. We noticed that the storage area at the end of the driveway and second floor porch needs to be repainted and redone. The beach supplies that is provided is limited and unclean. We requested to have our room refreshed, but it was not done. The breakfast entrée was a reasonable portion, but the portions of fruit and meat were small. They only let you choose between two options for breakfast. On the third morning there, they were slow to replenish the decaf coffee and creamer. Furthermore, there are no rooms with separate beds for non-couples such as mother/daughter (what we were) or friend getaways. As with all bed and breakfasts in Cape May, there is no parking lot. They provide permits to park for the Bank street lot, but it a long walk. This is not a family-owned B&B, so it is missing that personal touch. For $500 per night, we should have had top notch service. Would not recommend.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good. The room was the most expensive and not worth the price. Lighting was inadequate for reading and applying makeup, low watt bulbs in all the lamps. There are bright building lights left on at night outside the bedroom and there are no shades to block the light. HVAC needs repair, it has a ticking noise that makes it difficult to sleep, slept with cotton in my ears. The furniture and furnishings are worn. The bathroom and shower are tiny and need renovation. After our stay we were asked to review the property which we did. Never heard form the innkeeper.
