Coastline Realty came highly recommended when I started my search for a home to rent. From the first phone call until my departure, I experienced only the most professional and personable customer service! Ami connected me with Holli who is a wonderful asset to this team. I shared what I was looking for in a place to rent and within a couple of hours had several to choose from. By the end of the following day I was awaiting papers to sign. Per usual, my travels were filled with glitches and I know I must have arrived on the coldest night of the year well after dark. Of course I would have difficulty with the lock code and getting in the house, even so, Holli answered my call immediately to assist. Later that night sirens went off, a common occurrence I learned. However for this deep south southern girl it meant a tornado was near. Again, Holli immediately responded to my text that all was well. I can honestly say, Coastline is a one of a kind realty. The outstanding service provided is simply a testament of good business and a passion to help. Working with Coastline and Holli took away all of the anxiety of scrolling and allowed for me to truly enjoy the experience. Thank you Holli so very much for everything and I look forward to planning my next trip!Ginger

We recently rented a house in Cape May and Coastline Realty was in charge of the rental. Cody our agent was wonderful! He was very thorough and was always there to answer any questions. Made the lease process very easy as well as the check in and check out process. Would definitely use them again!

This was my first time going through Coastline Reality to rent a home for our vacation in Cape May. As this was a very special occasion, our 25th wedding anniversary, I needed everything to be perfect. The staff responded quickly to all my inquires and worked with me to secure the home and the week I requested. If you are looking to rent a vacation home, I highly recommend you start with Coastline Realty.

My family recently rented 1034 Maryland Ave from Coastline Realty for a week, paying a substantial $14,000 for the rental. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by an unethical incident involving our security deposit. We received our deposit back without any prior explanation, but $150 was deducted from it. To make matters worse, they later sent us pictures where the alleged stains were not even visible, over a month after we had vacated the property. This also led us to believe that these photos were indeed not an accurate representation of how the home was left and were likely photos taken after another renter or multiple renters had occupied the property. Not to mention that when we arrived at check-in time at the home per our lease (not even a minute earlier than the check-in time in our contract), we came to find the cleaners just getting started on the house. We then called Coastline to inform them, and they told us to wait, but to our surprise, the cleaners left about 15 minutes later without any direction from us whatsoever. Surely, they hadn’t finished cleaning the house, but we made no fuss.The house was left in pristine condition, and there was no indication of any issues when we departed. We made multiple attempts to contact Coastline Realty to inquire about the status of our security deposit within four weeks of vacating the property, but at no point were we informed about the additional cleaning fee or its impact on our deposit. Even when we directly called the company, they should have mentioned any problems or deductions.When we received the security deposit check with the deducted amount, we promptly contacted Coastline Realty (for the hundredth time) to inquire about the remaining balance of our security deposit, for which they had no immediate explanation. Throughout the entire process, Coastline Realty's lack of communication has been frustrating. We were never informed of any problems despite proactively contacting them numerous times. The partial return of our security deposit, which was supposed to be done within 30 days, also arrived late. Only then did they mention the deduction for additional cleaning due to alleged stains on the carpet or furniture.Our experience with Coastline Realty has been deeply disappointing, and we cannot recommend their services based on our encounter. They obviously don’t adequately vet their owners and provide no protection for their clients. I am shocked that this was the treatment we received after paying $14,000 to rent a home for one week. As consumers, we expect transparency, fair treatment, and open communication; everything about this encounter has been unethical. Unfortunately, Coastline Realty fell short in all these aspects, leaving us with a negative impression of their business practices. Buyer beware

Holly and the team at Coastline have done a great job finding me a place to stay twice in Cape May. They are quick and efficient, provide options and answers in a timely manner, and are local so know all the details of this area beyond the real estate. Would highly recommend if you are planning a vacation in Cape May!

This review serves as a stern warning to potential renters who value transparency, accountability, and basic customer service.From the moment we arrived at the rental property, it was evident that Coastline had failed miserably in their responsibilities. Despite arriving at the approved time of 2 o'clock, we were greeted by cleaners still frantically working to prepare the home. This blatant disregard for punctuality and professionalism was a clear sign of the incompetence that would plague our entire stay.However, the issues didn't stop there. The listing boasted two queen beds in two of the bedrooms, yet what awaited us were nothing more than full-size mattresses. This deliberate misrepresentation of the property's amenities is not only deceptive but also a blatant display of the realtor's disregard for honesty and integrity.Yet, the most infuriating aspect of this entire ordeal was the complete lack of communication and accountability displayed by Coastline. After we checked out, we waited patiently for over four weeks, expecting the prompt return of our security deposit. To our shock and dismay, when the check finally arrived, a portion of our hard-earned money had been withheld without any explanation whatsoever.When we reached out to Coastline seeking answers, their response was nothing short of astounding. They had the audacity to claim that they were "not sure" why we were not notified about the withheld amount and couldn't provide us with any justification for their actions. This level of incompetence and indifference towards their customers' concerns is entirely unacceptable.How can a reputable realtor company justify withholding funds from a security deposit without any prior communication or legitimate reason? Their feeble attempt to shift the blame and evade responsibility is a clear indication of their lack of professionalism and integrity.To anyone considering renting through Coastline, I urge you to proceed with extreme caution. They have demonstrated a complete disregard for their customers' time, money, and overall satisfaction. The blatant lack of communication, misleading information, and failure to take accountability have left a bitter taste in my mouth.In conclusion, my experience with Coastline was a nightmare from start to finish. Their inability to fulfill basic obligations, coupled with their dismissive response and refusal to provide satisfactory explanations, has left me deeply disappointed and utterly dissatisfied. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment - look elsewhere for a realtor company that values their customers and upholds the principles of transparent and accountable service.

They completely misrepresented their amenities, failed to keep scheduled appointments, and worst of all, they kept my security deposit without any notice or explanation. To add insult to injury, they later sent fabricated pictures claiming cleaning expenses that never occurred during my stay.Dealing with this company was a nightmare from start to finish. Their unprofessional behavior and lack of transparency make them completely untrustworthy. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this company at all costs. We recently stayed at 511 Mulberry Road and it was wonderful. We've been coming to Cape May for many years but I must say this was one of my favorite visits. Holly Steger from Coastline was very responsive and helpful with all of our questions.The property was also beautiful, comfortable and well kept. We loved the area and proximity to the beach! The pool was also amazing. The house provides everything!We definitely plan to come back to this property!thank you.

We have rented the same house (weekly) in West Cape May through Coastline Realty with Holly Steger for the past 5 years. Holly and Coastline have always been extremely responsive and professional, including helping to quickly resolve any minor issues that came up during our stay. Our family always looks forward to coming back to Cape May every summer.

We rented in West Cape May for a family vacation. Whole home advertised as an escape. It was an awful experience. Stayed at 11 Pond Creek as one of Coastline properties. Smelled of septic, rodent issue and handy man stopped by to "kill some mice", house was filthy with dirty tissue on night stand although we paid a $350 cleaning fee.Brought all of this up to coastline along with other concerns (no shades in bedroom, pool didn't full function) - they said homeowner wouldn't do anything so they were out. No advocacy or consideration. Not as advertised. Very disappointing. Buyer beware.

Kimberly Gipple and the Coastline Realty Team made my first time renting a shore house a wonderful, stress free experience. Great communication and patience while answering all of my questions during the leasing process. The office staff was very welcoming and friendly, I was checked in and given the keys quickly and smoothly. I loved the convenience of the key drop off box. Exceptional people and quality customer service, I highly recommend Coastline Realty and I hope to have the pleasure to use their services again.

We have used several different realty companies in Cape May and Coastline is the best. They made the entire process so easy and very efficient. . The key pickup and checkout was done electronically so it was real easy. We are all looking forward to staying at the same unit next year and I'll work with Coastline to get the process underway.

Coastline Realty and the team have been consistently excellent when I rent a home in Cape May Point each year. Their customer service is top notch and they are extremely responsive to any needs which may arise. I am especially grateful for the quick, calm and dedicated service of Ed Mahaney, Jillian and Margaret Bethel. They are wonderful to work with. Can not wait to be back again next year!
