Really disappointing trip, we visit this area every couple of years for the past 27 years and always look forward to day shopping in Cape May. Today was supposed to be a day to enjoy, we had a great lunch at the Ugly Mug and then started shopping, the first stop was Authentic Sportswear and that store managed to ruin my day. The lady at the desk did not want us in her store it seemed, she was rude, wouldn’t make eye contact, and didn’t speak one word to me even while I was standing in front of her paying until she had to say the total cost. She gave me the receipt and basically shooed me away with an eye roll. I regret spending money in that store but my daughter and I did get two cute but over priced long sleeve shirts. Luckily there are a lot of other stores on Washington Street that have the same things.

Great place to get unique gifts and goid prices. The person working there was knowledgeable about the items and patient with decision making and service.

They don't take returns. Only exchanges.Update: Response to owner's response. That's not the point.Just wanting people to be aware that unlike some other stores in Cape May, yours does not take returns.And ... go elsewhere if you want friendly customer service. Rudest people ever! I'm sorry I gave them my money. Very upsetting. Won't go back. That's for sure.

Rudest people I have ever encountered work here. Nasty. Rude. You ask a question and they immediately are nasty to you. Don’t ever come here. Horrible place. I regret ever stepping foot in here.

I went to return a bag that I bought three days prior, and I barley used it and the bag had the metal rings fall off. I walked in and the lady at the front desk said their is nothing I can do for you. absolutely nothing. She said this in a very rude way. I have been coming to Cape may for 18 years and I have never been treated so poorly. The store is also poorly organized with very little space to walk through. I would not waste your time here, go to any other store where they have the same products and much friendlier staff.

My parents visited this shop on a weekend vacation. They were treated horribly by the sales person. She treated them like garbage and they decided to put away everything they'd picked just so they didn't have to buy it from this horrible woman. Go somewhere else. This rude lady is not worth the hassle.
