In the winter it's a a great store but come spring they can't keep up with the rush. Lumber is always low and although they have products the shelves are not always stocked. Don't ask for shiplap or you get the song and dance how everyone wants shiplap and they can't keep it on the shelf. They have plenty in stock they just need to restock. Also make sure if you need a specific department of assistance (flooring or appliances) you check to see they have staff when they store opens! We were told they have nobody available until 8:30 am when store opens at 6. Went early because we had to drive with the lift down on our vehicle. Once again a waste of time and energy at Home Depot.

Dear The Home Depot of Cape May Court House, Please for the love of God train your male employees better. If I had a dollar for everytime one of your male associates said to me “looks like someone trusted you with the shopping today ?” or phrases of a similar variety, I’d be the richest woman in Cape May county. I am a relatively capable FEMALE business owner who built my business utilizing materials from companies such as yours. No MAN sent me with his dang shopping list. And for how many of your associates have assumed that (not only to themselves, but felt comfortable enough to say so OUT LOUD) it’s flat out degrading & disrespectful. Please, Jon in your jorts, do better man. Do better. Sincerely, A fed-up Female

Requiring veterans to have Home Depot app in order to receive 10% military discount. This is disgraceful these men and women served this country with dignity and should be shown respect. No reason you can not accept the actual military card as you have done in the past.

On April 10th we ordered an LG Wash Station with the extended warranty and delivery. We paid the extra thinking somehow this would assure competent install and coverage. Scheduled the delivery for April 30th, however, when the day came, the delivery company had a person out and we had to be rescheduled.

On April 10th we ordered an LG Wash Station with the extended warranty and delivery. We paid the extra thinking somehow this would assure competent install and coverage. Scheduled the delivery for April 30th, however, when the day came, the delivery company had a person out and we had to be rescheduled. No big deal, but this is a rental property, so traveling 4 hours round trip to make it to the rental was not appreciated. The next time for delivery is established, get the call they will be there at 10:00-12:00. Head out and travel the two hours to get there, then get the call, the unit was damaged and was not on the truck, another two hours back. The third time comes and this time we do have the machine, but none of the parts, can't install because the work order did not include all of the instructions that were clearly on my receipt, another wasted 4 hours. We called the Cape May Courthouse store and spoke to someone in appliances, where we were assured they have no ability to help us as the deliveries are outsourced and that is not their problem. Fourth time is a charm, right, no it is not. They have the machine, they have the tools, they have everything they need, but claim they can not install because there are too many stairs and have to call the office. I try calling Home Depot, surprise, no way to talk to someone. Approach the delivery person about allowing me to talk to their person as well, when I was told to shut up and go talk to whoever I was calling. Unbelievable, not only is this the fourth time, not only am I losing money paying for renters to use a laundromat, not only have I been charged two months earlier for something they can not figure if they can deliver, but I have a rude delivery person looking for a way out of work! I told them if they were going to be disrespectful they can leave, evidently they only heard leave. So now you are thinking, Home Depot will call and straighten it out, no, I have to call, wait on hold for another hour, discuss the situation with the customer service rep and cancel the order. Where once again Home Depot took no responsibility in the vendors they hire to perform work. Now you would think they would credit my account immediately. Once again, wrong, after two weeks, I had to call again to actually get them to credit the cost of the machine against my card, the whole time blaming us since it had been more than 30 days since the order. This experience has essentially caused me to never again to look to Home Depot for anything, no matter how small the item.

Absolute incompetence. Two months ago I ordered $17,000 worth of Andersen windows. A month ago I received a notice that my windows would be installed June 3-4. This was confirmed by a robocall on June 2. I moved all my stuff away from the Windows in my entire house and waited all day for someone to show up on June 3. NO ONE CAME. NO ONE CALLED. After many many attempts to get through to the Home Depot I ordered them from, including being hung up on twice, I finally talked to a human being who said they had no idea about the status of my order and gave me a centralized number to contact. I called that number several times that afternoon and kept getting an operator who looked up my order and told me someone would get back to me to let me know what was happening. Supposedly they were unable to reach the contractor who was supposed to install the windows. I called again on the morning of June 4. The operator doesn't know anything but promises some "project manager" would call me back within 15 minutes. No one called. I called again an hour later. Got another operator who said they would leave a message for the "project manager" who was trying to reschedule my job and that I would hear back from someone within 24-28 HOURS!!!! What utter incompetence. Do NOT order anything from these clowns. They can't find their a** with both hands. I will NEVER set foot in that store again. Go to Lowes. They always show up and do a good job.

I was supposed to receive 2 carpet samples but only received one. It is Impossible to get through on the phone - there is no way to leave a message. I was on hold on the sample phone number, 1-855-MEASURE forever, then got attitude when I finally got through when I asked about the 2nd sample. "It's probably out of stock". Was the reply. Then why no note to that effect in the sample box? The reps in the store were rude (talking endlessly without so much as acknowledging me standing there). But my MAJOR concern is the MANY hoops that veterans must jump through to get the advertised discount. It is ridiculous & obvious that The Home Depot does not want to give this discount to veterans. Well, this cost them a (over) $900 sale & our future business

I Want to give a loud shout out of appreciation to Larry who works in the flooring section of Home Depot. His customer service is bar none. Even though the phones were ringing off the hook and random customers were stopping to ask where to find items in the store he was able to educate me about flooring and painstakingly listened while I was rattling off my needs. More people on this day and age should be like Larry. If I were his manager I would promote him or at least give him a raise.. I hope someone shows this review to him. #bekindalways #belikelarry

Doesn't even deserve 1/2 a star. Purchasing an appliance from #homedepot, #thehomedepot is a nightmare. We recently purchased a GE dishwasher for our condo in Wildwood Crest New Jersey from the Home Depot (you know the place that advertises 'How Doers Get More Done') in Cape May Court House to replace the 20-year old one that had started to leak. Delivery was scheduled for today. We purchased installation along with the dishwasher. Although I've heard horror stories about Home Depot's dishwasher installations (i.e., the drivers who deliver the dishwashers do the installation and they are not 'plumbers', but no one tells you this), I wasn't worried because we have a shut-off valve under our kitchen sink and this was just one of the many complaints and unfortunate surprises that others have posted about after purchasing their dishwasher from #homedepot, #thehomedepot only to find out that they would not install it upon delivery if there was no shut-off valve. My husband made a trip down to the shore to wait for the delivery and installation, calling a few days in advance to make sure everything was on schedule which was another issue that so many have complained about. I just got off the phone with him. He told me the truck pulled up, the driver got out and asked my husband where the dishwasher was going. My husband walked the driver into the elevator and to our unit. The driver pulled out his flashlight and looked under the kitchen sink, then exclaimed, "we got a problem". "What?" my husband asked. "You got copper pipes" the driver answered. "We're not allowed to touch copper because we're not plumbers". DO. YOU. FREAKING. BELIEVE. THAT? At NO POINT when purchasing the dishwasher and/or scheduling the installation (and paying $160 for it in advance) did ANYONE in the #homedepot, #thehomedepot ask about copper pipes, etc. The driver offered to leave the dishwasher and credit us for installation. My husband was so disgusted, he declined and told the guy to take it back to the store. He then tried calling the store to speak to someone about this experience but apparently, there is no way you can reach a human being. Hmmmm... isn't THAT convenient? So, Buyer Beware, but #HomeDepot, #thehomedepot Buyer ESPECIALLY Beware.

visited this stored today to pick up an online order for lumber. And I was amazed by how rude the employees were. I got a bundle of 50 4x4s and the employee told me to just cut the bands and start loading them up by myself. I asked if he would lower them onto my trailer with the forklift (which he was standing right next to), and he rolled his eyes huffing and puffing before agreeing to do so. He got a little close to my uncle during the interaction so my uncle asked if he could step back and maintain the recommended distance for everyone's safety. The employee walked away and not so quietly to his coworker said "maybe I should just tell that guy to f*** himself."
