I will try to keep this short but I could go on and on about how amazing Ronald McDonald House is!! Two weeks ago our 5 year old son was transported to Cooper for a horrible case of pneumonia. We were fortunate enough to be able to stay at RMH while our son was fighting the battle of his life. When we walked through the doors of RMH my jaw dropped. It is so unbelievably beautiful, clean and CALM! The sense of peace we would feel whenever we walked in was indescribable. Everyone greeted us with warm smiles and they were there for us when we needed to talk or needed anything that we didn’t pack with us. Our room was gorgeous and beds were so comfortable! The meals that were prepared were so delicious and comforting!! Our daughter was able to visit us there because she was too young to visit her brother in the hospital. She didn’t want to leave!! We developed friendships quickly with other parents going through the same thing we were and I will cherish those relationships forever! I will never stop raving about RMH and will donate to them whenever I can because without them there my husband and I would have had to commute over an hour back home. We were able to stay by our sons side during his two week hospital stay when he needed us the most. I will forever be grateful for everyone at RMH!! WE LOVE YOU Ronald McDonald house of Southern NJ!!!

The stay was okay, but I felt like we was always being watched like we was criminals or something.. made a complaint about the bottom of my stomach showing when I was 8 months pregnant with twins and it was the lady who ran it that made complaint like anybody cares about the bottom of my stomach showing I was a hippo. I had came with family members that was 21+ at time (because I wasn’t ) who had a disagreement that must of been heard (I was unaware of) before I left to deliver my sons we agreed that person could leave and once I birth my sons I would be able to come back! Once I was in the hospital and delivered my sons they went back on their word saying I had to come get my stuff which I couldn’t I just had kids. How dare you sit down with me we agree to a resolution! We agree everything’s clear as long as that person leaves. Then go back on their word once I’m in the hospital and just gave birth a day later at THAT! I still have emails till this day!! I ended up having to leave my baby in the hospital and traveling back to my city hardest thing ever!

We are forever grateful for all Ronald McDonald Houses! We have been in at least 7 different houses, all over the country. They are a wonderful charity and goes way above and beyond for sick children and their families. Camden RMH is a very nice place that offers a shuttle to and from CHOP, they do have discounted or free tickets to local attractions, they have volunteers that come in and cook dinner, they have a food pantry on site and a fully stocked kitchen to cook your own meals. The staff are absolutely amazing and go above and beyond for their guests. Each room is decorated is a different theme, which is pretty fun for both children and parents. They have family lounges and washers/dryers on each floor. A huge eating area and outdoor area, the entire place is gated. My only complaints are that there aren't mini fridges or televisions in the rooms and the rooms cannot be individually temperature controlled. The fridges are helpful for kiddos that are tube fed and their medications that need to be refrigerated. Televisions help relieve some stress. For our personal situation, our kiddo needs to be in a cool environment at all times, so without the option of turning the air on cooler, it made it a much tougher stay for us. Other than those three things, this is an amazing place!!!

It was a wonderful experience! My family got together and volunteered to cook dinner. The Ronald McDonald house helped when my grandson was born 8 years ago.

Yesterday I visited this house for the first time with my neighbors. They stayed at that house while their baby was born. It is without a doubt a beautiful house that allows families of low income with kids who require especial treatment at Philadelphia Children's Hospital. We brought a donation to return a little bit of the love and care they provided to my friends while they were there. Lots of families from several parts of the USA and the world are allowed to stay free of charge and they also provide meals to them. This institution is a clear example of love towards the most needed.I would like to invite anyone reading this review to help this charity organization. They are always in need of pantry donations. But if you want, you can also reach out to them and find a way to collaborate. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing at first hand what they do to help families in need.
