“I will try to keep this short but I could go on and on about how amazing Ronald McDonald House is!! Two weeks ago our 5 year old son was transported to Cooper for a horrible case of pneumonia. We were fortunate enough to be able to stay at RMH while our son was fighting the battle of his life. When we walked through the doors of RMH my jaw dropped. It is so unbelievably beautiful, clean and CALM! The sense of peace we would feel whenever we walked in was indescribable. Everyone greeted us with warm smiles and they were there for us when we needed to talk or needed anything that we didn’t pack with us. Our room was gorgeous and beds were so comfortable! The meals that were prepared were so delicious and comforting!! Our daughter was able to visit us there because she was too young to visit her brother in the hospital. She didn’t want to leave!! We developed friendships quickly with other parents going through the same thing we were and I will cherish those relationships forever! I will never stop raving about RMH and will donate to them whenever I can because without them there my husband and I would have had to commute over an hour back home. We were able to stay by our sons side during his two week hospital stay when he needed us the most. I will forever be grateful for everyone at RMH!! They take kids who are not that well off and acutally teach them a valuable life skill like cooking. talked to a kid there that said if it wasnt for this place, he would be in really bad shape in life.
