They are the best. We have used Greg and staff for many years. You will not find a better more responsive vet any where. He cars for your horse like it's his own. He has taken care of many top level eventing horses for us

Rescued a 8yr old QH from auction about a year and a half ago. Greg came very highly recommended to try and figure out this horse's issues (all over lameness, but trying to identify the source). Booked an appointment 3 weeks out, waited while this horse struggled being sound on pasture, and the day of the appointment, he cancelled. They sent out another younger and significantly less experienced vet who said he would converse with Greg and share everything with him to help figure out the issues. Never done, but was told to put very expensive shoes on to help. Shoes helped for a few months, although horse was never comfortable at anything more than a walk. Fast forward 9mo, and horse had a severe laminitis episode. Another, even younger and less experienced vet, came out and suggested a course if intense anti inflammatories and bute. Horse recovered, but was still never comfortable, even in bute. Mind you, multiple xrays have been done on this horse at different times of his episodes at $250 each shot. 1st vet I worked with from there came out 2 or the 3x to give course of anti inflammatory treatment and suggested increasing the height of the wedges in his shoes and to take off a significant amount of foot, which increased the farrier visit significantly. I asked if this was run past their senior vet, which he said yes. Against farrier's approach, we went through with vet's suggestion and horse was in intense pain. Pulled the shoes 2 weeks later and when I asked what to do next, vet said he needed multiple xrays to be able to give an appropriate course of action.
I've spent thousands with this practice, and have never been given an appropriate course of action with any improving results. The original vet I was told to see, Greg, has a waitlist for weeks, and has a history of cancelling it last minute (this happened 2x). Not only are their prices ridiculous, but my intention of going with a group practice for the multiple vet experiences and collaboration was just never done.
Office staff was pleasant, which earns them the 1 star.

Her suggestion turned out to be a $1400 treatment, which yes, did work to calm things down, and included additional xrays which didnt show anything significant. Recommended course of action was to increase wedge height in shoes, but this made the horse worse and we ended up pulling expensive shoes less than 2 weeks later. Vet has always said everything runs past Greg, who is their lead vet, but when I asked what his input was on the situation, no one could give an answer except that he needs more xrays at $250/each shot. Horse is no longer pasture sound and I've ended up spending thousands with this clinic, hoping for the multi vet opinions, but their response seems to keep being to spend more money and throwing ideas out that do NOT work. Spend thousands elsewhere, I will never use their services again

Dr. Derin was do great with our 3 geldings. She was very thorough with her exam. I was beyond grateful when she was able to fit us into her schedule last minute and come out to care for our 1 horse who had gotten attacked by 2 dogs. I highly recommend her and running s equine.

I took my horse Dakota to Running S to diagnose his persistent and worsening problems with Uveitis in one of his eyes. Dr. Travis Bowers examined him and ran tests that were moderately painful to Dakota, explaining every step of the way. Dakota never even flinched - the entire time my horse was so comfortable with him as if they knew each other forever and that was very comforting to me. Dr. Travis was very kind and knowledgeable and I knew I had come to the right place. Enu

I am a new client of Running S and have had a wonderful experience so far. Amy expertly fielded my (many) phone calls before my appointment with Dr. Staller and made sure that I had the information I needed. Dr. Staller very carefully examined my mare and explained every step of the exam to me in terms I could understand. A great experience despite a stressful circumstance. Thank you, Running S!

My World Champion show horse was transferred from a large, well known equine clinic to Running S as his treatment was going nowhere. The transfer to Dr. Stallers clinic, Running S, was the best thing I could have done for my horse. In fact, it was lifesaving. In the large clinic, my horse was seen by very young and inexperienced vets, where Dr. Staller is a very experienced surgeon/practitioner who personally treats my horse daily. Dr. Staller started treatment on my horse and performed something wasn't even thought about at the large clinic, and it was Dr. Stallers experience of knowing this particular procedure that saved my horses' life. If I had kept him at the old clinic, where 5 different inexperienced vets cared for my horse, he would never have made it out alive as he was actually getting worse, and they were masking it with pain killers, instead of taking action to stop the infection. Dr. Stallers' staff is very friendly and have taken very good care of my horse, and Dr.Stallers care beats any clinic I've ever had my young horses to. I would never hesitate to have my horses with Dr. Staller for a routine checkup, joint injection, prepurchase exam or illness. He is incredibly caring, thoughtful regarding the best avenue to treat, and a great surgeon. If your on the fence as to where to send your horse out for surgery or routine check, don't hesitate to go to Running S, and this is my 2nd young horse I've had there, both with excellent results. THANK YOU Running S..........your practice is second to NONE!

I started using Running S recently, and I have been very happy with them. They are very professional, easy to talk to, and very nice. Every veterinarian I've interacted with has addressed any questions I've had and has been super patient with my horses. I have seen them treat other horses as well, and the care is second to none. They are very thorough and make sure that the client understands everything they are doing and that they have found. They provide enough information for someone to make an educated decision, whether it is regarding a treatment plan, a purchase, or anything in between. They return phone calls right away, and they are always on time. Billing is timely and accurate as well.
