68 Main St, Califon“Visiting my daughter in nearby Glen Gardner over the holiday (4th of July), we wanted to get away from traffic and shop locally, so this store is perfect. After living in Florida where the nearest store was a truck stop, with only various kinds of chewing tobacco, I appreciate this store for locals and it's variety. The entry near the deli greeted us with the yummy scent from the hot bar, serving various chicken and pork, and the food looked freshly made and presented. The next department was the produce, and it was stocked well with very fresh items that were meticulously stacked in bins. Prices were extremely good for the citrus, which, coming from Florida, I took special interest in viewing. The rest of the store was well stocked with wide variety in each aisles. I even found my granddaughters' favorite fruit roll-ups at a very comparable price, making them very happy on my return. If I lived in the area I would definitely be a regular customer, especially in the winter when traveling those hilly twisting roads!”

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The selection of products was impressive, and I appreciated the quality of fresh produce and other items. Overall, it was a pleasant and efficient shopping experience. I highly recommend this Indian grocery market for its excellent customer service and great variety of goods.

“I love to enjoy a good Chuck Eye Steak, or a well-marbled Chuck in my crock pot... I gotta say, the Beef at Bishop's Supermarket is measurably better than any supermarket...they're not shy about their pricing, but the Price/Value relationship is solid. "you get what you pay for" is the old adage, and I believe that it is always true. Just great meat!!! And, I love that they get Scrapple from R & R Provisions, Easton PA. The best scrapple for your delicious breakfast!!!!! And so inexpensive too. Thank you Bishops.”
“I live in South Carolina, but whenever up North I’m sure to bring my coolers and do some shopping at this ShopRite, The cleanliness of the store is absolutely wonderful, the bakery section is amazing , the food already cooked is great, the meat department top notch .Wish I had a ShopRite near me .”
“Today around 1PM on 6/22/24 Brittney helped me out at the self checkout. She went out of her way to hold my spot at the register while I went to grab ice that I forgot. When I came back she was putting things in my cart for me. The world needs more kind people like Brittney!!! I hope she is generously rewarded =]”
“My opinion. I love clean. When I walk in the store and look at the floors I look at everything. If it's not clean, I'm out the door faster than I even came in. kings was clean ,pricing for the area and food competitive. Maybe a bit high. However, that's Joe biden's fault who I think is just despicable flooding Our country with nothing but illegal migrants, compromising our safety, etc. vote Republican or they'll be no USA as we know it!”

Both went over and above trying to help me find glueten free quiche! These two wonderful helpful employees deserve extra special recognition!
Thank you Connor and Denise!

But the fresh foods are delicious.
And this chocolate milk beats the brakes off of anything else I've bought.
Weis in mansfield is fantastic from products, to staff, to prices.”

“Since being fully retired and like eating at home more, I have to navigate the sales, digital coupons, price plus items, etc. No matter how long I have to wait, I always like having the honor of Shelly as my cashier. Over the past year, she keeps me oriented as to how Shoprite sales work and is very patient with me when I checkout. My review of Google Reviews is that Shoprite seems to only respond to negative reviews. I hope this not the case and give Shelly the recognition that she deserves as a valued employee.”

183 US-206, Chester“I love this place! It has everything you may need for anything! I go there and get my kids lunches, snacks and even dinners. You can get very fine steak and other kinds of meat. They are very organized, considering they have signs that organize what kinds of food in what isle. Only one thing is that some of the shelves are very high and some are very low. Otherwise, it’s great!”

Route 513 And, I-78, Clinton“I shop at the Walmart in Clinton because the one in Flemington is always out of stock of the items I need. Clinton Walmart is always clean and the shelves are always well stocked. The employees are all very nice and helpful. The only problem I have is there are no registers open, you only have self checkout.”
“Store was clean and fairly well stocked, seems to be a shortage of employees as with most places any more. My interaction with one store employee was very positive, she was very helpful and professional very knowledgeable about the store and location of products.”

“All priced went up about 10% when they re did the store. Still good value and great selection choice.4/23/24 - prices are still going up. The store is very, very clean (a big plus) and entire working staff are all friendly.”

102 E Washington Ave, Washington“Awesome grocery store. It is cute, colorful and full of goodies ♡I'm even more grateful because I grew up in a city where Bodegas were abundant- they are so useful and cool. Cultural snacks, drinks and foods are really worth trying! The aloe vera & coconut drinks are so good, along with the bakery goods they get too! All of which I don't see in nearby placesThe store owner and workers are very very nice. (:And some items like soap & coffee are more affordable than at the big businesses around here ✰Also, there are times where the suppliers have accidentally or sneakily given them expired products without their knowledge ( things happen and prices fluctuate so they have changed some suppliers ) So it's worth letting them know if you find certain expired items worth concern! (if you're comfortable) Some items like hot sauce are genuinely safe after recent Best Buy dates (speaking from experience) Read serving sizes to avoid discomfort with any item ♡Please keep in mind that the date may go by Day/Month/Year instead of Month/Day/YearIf you like cooking, I recommend using their sauces like chipotle, adobo products, mole and other seasonings. Great salsa & hot sauce too. I'm so glad I tried it out after asking for suggestions!”
“Definitely pricey! & the people who work there are very nice. In a pinch, it is nice to have a store with an a 10 minute walk from the apartment. They sell a lot of snacks and drinks. They sell OJ and eggs, but no bread products (which I find very strange). They carry a few necessities, like laundry detergent & toilet paper...If you're looking for cigarettes, some CBD or THC kind of product (not sure exactly what they have), & some snacks / candy / ice cream for when the munchies hit, they probably have it, But I am certain that - like everything else - it is overpriced.”
“Sometimes you find a real bodega that is a winner, and this is one of them. Accommodating with regular needs, snacks, basics and alcohol but most importantly the prepared foods/deli section up front. My husband and I make it a point almost every weekend to get breakfast sandwiches, on the best kaiser rolls! The macaroni salad is so good. Highly recommend to stop in and check out that front case if you're in the area.”

They've been undergoing a big remodel and I'm so excited to see what they've done! I've been told that there will be a much larger fresh and frozen food section and new registers as well! Can't wait to go in tomorrow when they reopen!”

68 US-46 W, Hackettstown“This Target is a very big store. I love that they have a big grocery dept in it. It has become a very convenient place to go to for one stop shopping for pharmacy needs to clothing & shoes to stop and get milk, bread, produce and other groceries to tide me over. The parking area is very big and plenty of room. It's easy to get in & out of. It's a perfect location.”
“I just edited this review because the store dealt with it very well. Gabe the store manager made sure that I got double my money back even though the product had already been consumed. It was initially two stars but hopefully this really was a one-time thing and possibly due to a customer carrying the bars around the store for a while and then changing his or her mind.Original comments: We bought these Enlightened ice cream bars tonight. They were $2 off the very high price of $7.99. They clearly had melted and re-frozen! We ate them anyway despite the mess (too tired to drive back and exchange or return them) but it's really disappointing to have that poor quality in a store that has very high prices.”
“Love this place! All store associates are super friendly, helpful, and highly knowledgeable. Good sales. GREAT VEGAN takeout. Nice size portions. I especially loved the vegan chicken salad wrap. Always a pleasant shopping experience. No pixs.”
“Truly a step back in time. The whole idea of small-town America is perfectly encapsulated in places such as adorable Califon in rural Hunterdon County, New Jersey, which has the unique distinction of being the physical inspiration behind the setting of the 1946 Christmas classic, “It’s a wonderful life”. In the heart of Califon is Rambo’s, a truly vintage general store, delicatessen, and butcher shop. I’m not sure exactly how old it is, probably at least as old as my paternal grandfather, who would be 98 today. I’ve tried their 2 most popular sandwiches, the pastrami on rye with Swiss and the Italian hoagie, both were delicious. I bought some of their hand cut lamb loin chops, they turned out excellent with a jerk spice rub they sell. I’m very much looking forward to trying out their house made Italian sausage I got stored in the freezer. The store staff and managers/owners are very kind and welcoming and I am happy to support an awesome and storied local small business. I’m definitely planning on coming back here on a semi-routinely manner, perhaps even on a biking trip on the nearby Columbia trail in the future.”
