The manager of Willing Hearts is the kindest most caring person I have ever encountered in my time shopping at various thrift stores. She is always fair and always helps me find whatever I need. She also always asks about how my family is doing.

I have been shopping at Willing hearts here in my beautiful hometown of Caldwell for just about 6 years. I tell all my friends about the wonderful finds. I do not consign but I purchase. Every week if I find some kind of knick knack, even clothes, and even furniture, I purchase it. I have been so lucky. Today on my lunchbreak I come in and had my eye on three pieces of Christmas tree ornaments, I asked the manager could I get an ornament for $3.00 (this was a fair price compared to the other two I was purchasing) instead of $5.00 because it was indeed chipped and I do not ever ask for a discount, she didn't ask me why she said "No", I understand the ladies are doing a nice service by donating their time working here and I always have had a terrific experience with Janice, but my experience was disheartening today as I took a walk and went into willing hearts to have a relatively challenging morning become nice as I always have a good experience here and today I felt like the manager was indifferent and not at all cheerful. I do understand this is a consignment shop and there is a system (I do not usually follow and don't understand) I do not ever write reviews and I would only hope that the next person would be greeted and treated more graciously and given a courteous explanation of why the "NO" in any service related to the public purchasing goods new or gently used. As for all the other ladies and gentleman that do service there. Thank you for always be courteous to me.I hope only to encourage with my review.You never know the kind of day someone is having, and today's manager I hope you well as maybe you were having a challenging morning as well.

Always a fun shopping experience. Chock full of unexpected treasures at great prices. It is staffed by friendly volunteers who are the true 'Willing' hands that keep the shop's vitality high.

I want to start of by saying that I have been shopping here for about 18 years. Last week I went there, took a friend with me that has never been there before. We go to the jewelry section, ask to see the rings. The elderly lady behind the counter was super nice and cooperative. Unbeknownst to us, she was not suppose to let us see the entire tray of rings at a time, which she did. Then comes Tatyana (Russian/Eastern European lady) being rude, condescending, and unprofessional (to the staff and us, the customers) as she raises her voice at the elderly lady saying loudly: “One ring at a time, one ring at a time!” I responded and said that no one told us that and continued shopping. She then keeps walking around the store looking at us in an unpleasant manner. Then we go to check out and another kind elderly lady was there to check us out, but then comes Tatyana again to ‘help’ as the elderly lady wasn’t moving at a pace that’s appropriate according to Tatyana. I spent a bit over $60 and my friend a bit over $200. When we were done checking out, Tatyana starts clapping her hands to dismiss/shoo us away (like animals) from the counter while saying: “Okay ladies, okay ladies!” I reiterate, I have been shopping here for 18 years, but am not sure I can/will return to this store, as I have never been as demeaned in my life. I know that the people running the store are volunteers, but it is still a business, and the volunteers should be trained accordingly.

“Let’s grab some deals…” it’s what we say before going into Willing hearts. It’s well organized and there’s always something different to discover-retro to new, we love it.

What a wonderful thrift store. Now, their prices are increased due to inflation but not too bad. So much to see from clothes, to housewares to really cool consignment section. They have very vintage items at very good prices. I will be going back and back and bringing friends!

Shopping there for years most of the ladies are nice and friendly but there are a small few that are downright nasty. I had an incident in that store where one of the volunteers spoke to me as if I was something stuck under the bottom of her shoe. I spent money in that store for years and never had a problem with anyone .........but never again!
