“The perfect venue for your small/medium sized event. I've rented the space many times - super bowl party, networking events, pop-up shop, themed parties and it's always a hit. Works well for 20 people, works well for 70 people. They have the best bartenders, who are happy to help with set up and prep. Perfect for surprise parties because the building itself is a little discrete. Intimate vibe with a cool industrial look, TV's, pool table, couches, fireplace, and more. Highly recommend!”
“My daughter and my now son-in-law were married at the Pleasantdale Chateau on 1/19/2024. To sum up our experience in one word-Perfection! From the moment we arrived until our departure 24 hours later every detail was handled with precision and courtesy by the fabulous Pleasantdale Chateau staff. There was not one thing that was overlooked. From the bridal and groom attendants, Michelle and Jen; to the banquet manager, Bryan; to the captains, Iker, Jonathan, Luis and Tori, and to all the staff who greeted our guests and looked after them during the reception, your service was exceptional. We were so very impressed by your professional and friendly manner. As one guest told me this event was “Perfect white glove service. When I got up to dance I returned to my seat to a refolded napkin and a reorganized place setting. When they delivered dinner they knew exactly what meal went where. That staff was the best trained and most professional catering staff I have ever seen. Captains constantly on the floor overseeing and communicating. Really flawless service in my opinion. A truly well oiled machine. “ So many of our guests sang the praises of the food, staff, the setting and the overall atmosphere. Many claimed it was the best wedding they ever attended. “Our wedding was absolutely spectacular. People told me it was the best they’ve ever been to. Somebody told me it’s a wedding you talk about in 30 years because it was that good. I plan on having our daughter’s communion and sweet 16 here as well. Maroon was absolutely amazing through the whole 2 year process and went above and beyond to make sure this night would be one to remember for us and all of our 200 guests. A huge special thanks to Liana for taking care of us newlyweds all night. She’s an angel. I had high expectations and they exceeded every single one.Have your wedding here and don’t think twice about it. The venue is beautiful and the food is unreal. You will not regret it.”
“My experience at the Women's Club of Glenridge was phenomenal. Elizabeth ( office manager) was so warm and friendly from the beginning to the end. She was very professional and accommodating and made the process seamless. I was immediately sold on the venue for its historic charm and beauty. It was the perfect place for our baby shower. I must say, Luis ( building manager) was amazing. He was very helpful and went above and beyond by making our experience great. He was very accommodating and offered excellent advice on seating arrangements and decor. Overall, our experience was exceptional. We couldn't have chosen a better place to have our baby shower. “"Simply Awesome" is the phrase that comes to mind when it comes to thinking about The Grand. As a wedding photographer its super important to work at a wedding venue that offers not only scenic options to photograph my couple's, but also a helpful staff that makes our lives easier and The Grand has that in spades!Sal is AMAZING. I have never met someone so on top of everything! One second he is in the newly renovated bridal suite helping the bride out with things and then in the blink of an eye he's in the ballroom making sure all of the decor is being done on time! It's honestly amazing!Lets also talk about their newly renovated grounds in the back, they now have a beautiful dedicated area in the back for ceremonies and BEAUTIFUL locations for photos (see my attached photos).It really makes my life so easy to get amazing photos for my couples working here. I highly recommend them if you're on the fence about using them for your wedding!”
“David Alan Caterers, catered our Thanksgiving this past month and it was stupendous!!! We hosted our thanksgiving in Montclair, NJ and we coordinated ALL of it from California. We had not worked with a caterer in New Jersey before, but we will definitely use them again. Our point person was Lisa W., and she was on top of all of it!!!! The food was delish and the staff was spectacular. They handled everything for 20 people. Food, rentals and presentation. We can't recommend them enough!!!”
“The Tea Parties with princesses are absolutely adorable and such a fun activity. I've taken my daughter (3) to two parties - one with Ariel and one with Elsa & Anna. She's had a blast both times. I do feel like the price tag is a bit much ($40 per person) - I certainly don't mind paying for her for the experience but paying the same amount for myself definitely makes me hesitate before booking another one. They get to do a craft, get their picture with the princess(es), have tea sandwiches, scones and tea (apple juice or pink lemonade) and decorate a cupcake. There's also a song/dance, the princess reads a story and there are plenty of dresses & shoes to try on. Really for the kids the price is a good value. But for the adult it's a little much I feel. We're keeping on the email list and will likely do another in the future. Would love a bundle price for purchasing more than one or considering a lower price for the accompanying adult.”
“Went there for a weekend lunch for the 1st time. Food was very good. Lumis salad was terrific & our two pasta dishes were tasty and hot. Service was very professional and attentive. As far as value, no discounted menu for lunch which was ok but I would only likely return there for dinner.”
“Attended the Love of Jesus Family Church Christmas banquet in Dec. 2023. The food was great and plenty of it. The parking lot was big, a decent walk, but free. Valet parking was available.”

“went to see "Top Gun: Maverick" on Saturday. This was my first time in a modern theater in over 30+ yrs. It was a very pleasant experience. The tilt back seats with the adjustment controls was by far the most comfortable theatre experience I've ever had. I would definitely come back for the right movie. The only negative was having to watch the 4 or 5 clips of upcoming movies beforehand, all of which I thought were crappy. Top Gun was great.14 Jan 24. Went to see "The Beekeeper" but skipped all of the up coming movie clips this time. We had reserve seats and sat in the center of the last row. Seats were very comfortable as last time and I could see it would be very easy to fall asleep if your movie was boring. No complaints, excellent movie experience”

The service was exceptional and the atmosphere was perfect for the event. They also have private parking and let's not forget to mention the FOOD was amazing. Definitely recommend others to book this place for a venue and visit the restaurant for regular service as well.Parking: Plenty of parking unless it's two large events at the same time but street parking is also available.Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is on the ground floor. No stairs.”

“We used Caldwell Flowerland for our wedding and it was such a great decision. For my wife especially, beautiful, natural flowers were very important and wow did they deliver! Christina, the owner, had such creative ideas (that my wife enjoyed geeking out with her over!) and every single thing looked perfect on the day of, from our bouquets to our aisle, wedding arch, table arrangements, and even the small flowers she put into the vases we used as party favors. She also worked with us to incorporate dahlias that our families has grown for us into the arrangements, which made everything feel that much more special. We are so appreciative of Christina and her team for everything!”
