8:30AM - 4:30PM
10 Park Ave, Caldwell“I have to add my positive review to a local post office. On many occasions these hard working postal workers have taken the extra step to track down items and follow up for me. They take the extra step and call back. Consistently I have found the counter staff to be friendly, skilled and professional. And I have witnessed them tactfully handle difficult customers. Their efforts are very appreciated ! And I believe they deserve a bit more respect than they may be receiving. Thank you West Caldwell Post Office !!”
“Fun little store with home baked goods, staple items and deli ( they'll make you a sandwich to order.) Deli prices were good, frozen meats were on the high side.”
8AM - 4:30PM
598 Central Ave Ste 7, New Providence“I love Tara, who works at this post office, I live in Summit and come all the way here just because of her. I always have a prepaid label so it is a quick in and out, I have a small business and do a lot of shipping. When being attended by other other officers, even having pre-paid labels, I have sometimes ran into comments about how something about my package or my label is wrong (wrong package type, wrong sticker placement, wrong "zone rate" (my labels are created automatically by the USPS software based on accurate package details and shipping info so these comments don't even make sense). That has never happened with Tara and my package delivery rate is 100% with her.”
“I don’t live in Essex Fells but I make sure to use their post office because the women who work there are patient, kind, polite, and professional. You’d never know if they were having a bad day because they welcome you with a warm hello and a smile. You ask a question and they don’t roll their eyes or make you feel like an idiot, unlike the people who work the counter at Caldwell and West Caldwell post offices. Recently I had the misfortune of having to go to the Caldwell post office. I was quickly reminded why I avoid that location. Keep up the good work EF!”
2:45 - 4PM 9:30AM - 2PM
1767 Springfield Ave Ste 2, Maplewood“Ms Karen is the best postal service worker in whole state of New Jersey!!!! She is polite, professional, efficient! I love her! I wish we had more workers like her in other post offices ?. And trust me I've been to many, they are always so rude, slow and have the worst attitude.”
“Staff were very friendly and helpful! I came in with concerns regarding a package. The staff resolved the issue quickly and within a few hours they delivered the package to my house”
“Even though it's often busy, the young ladies in the front are always courteous and apologize for the wait/ensure those of us waiting in line that they will be right with us (and they are). They're organized, efficient, and great at what they do...and so the line moves quickly.
They are also patient when customers need help/have questions.
And one of the young ladies up front is VERY funny! She was clever/witty and engaging with customers in a way that made me laugh several times while waiting.”
“i had no experience with the post office before and when i went the workers were super friendly and very easy to talk to and i can happily send my package without any problems”
8:30AM - 4:30PM
1296 Broad St, Bloomfield“I love this little post office. The lady there is Very helpful. A lot of these post offices, they don’t help you and they don’t tell you anything. She let me know that flat rate is the cheapest way to go! She helped me save almost 10 dollars mailing my package to my nephew!”
2 - 3PM 9AM - 1:30PM
128 Watchung Ave #2, Montclair“I can’t imagine what happened to a couple of the customers based on their reviews. My experience is that the Watchung Plaza people & service are just fine. The hours could use some help but that’s all.”
8:30AM - 5PM
586 Valley Rd, Wayne“It’s always a good experience here she is always very helpful and polite. Totally the opposite from the main post office at Pompton Plains crossroad Wayne. Where they are rude.”
“One of the friendliest post offices I’ve been to. The lines aren’t terrible - if there are any - and the staff is helpful. They go over all shipping options and are engaging with my young children who tag along.”
“The Cedar Grove post office is one of the best run ones around. During my most recent visit, the service was prompt, courteous and professional; the clerk (I don't know his name) is very knowledgeable and helpful.”
“Staff is very friendly and helpful. Great customer service. Highly recommend
I see some of the negative reviews on here but I've honestly never had any issues.”
“Friendly staff. There's short term parking outside which is convenient. I had to ship a large number of books and between buying postage online through PayPal, dropping off labeled boxes at the post office, it was much easier than I expected.”
“All the ladies at the post office are wonderful. Always so pleasant and helpful even when I had to mail out 51 letters by certified mail! Thank you for all you do!”
8:30AM - 5PM
50 US-46, Pine Brook“I came in for My son's (who has ASD) New Passport with Photo Services. Both the ladies at the desk were very helpful. They were very patient taking the picture for my Son who has stimming a lot. I even forgot to sign the form and got a call back immediately from them. Went back in and signed it. I had lot of anxiety going in with my son and the whole process just took 5 to 10 minutes.”
“Pretty well known post office.Has everything you need from a front desk, drop off boxes, you name it. Staff are quite slow but USPS’s feel understaffed everywhere. Some post offices don’t have drop off boxes so I come to this location to which has plenty of options to send your packages.Bear in mind, post offices are overclocked during the holidays.”
9AM - 4PM
25 W Northfield Rd Ste C, Livingston“I had probably the best experience than every other post office I’ve been to. The woman that helped me, Sandy, had phenomenal customer service and went above and beyond. Next time I have to go to the post office again, I’ll be coming to this location and hopefully Sandy is the one that helps me out!”
2:30 - 4:30PM 9AM - 1:30PM
1965A Morris Ave, Union“You can leave prepaid stuff without waiting in the lineBut they will not gonna give you the receipt even if you took the lineDon't park on a street, there is a municipal parking ?️ a bit ahead, parking here is is free but only for 2 hours”
“Went to this location last week to mail products for my business. As a small business owner I am constantly in the post office and I definitely will make this my permanent mailing location moving forward!”
2 - 4:30PM 8:45AM - 1PM
415 Broad St, Bloomfield“I love having this little outpost so close to home. There are rarely lines and everyone is nice. I enjoy coming to this post office. For people complaining about them being randomly closed, its because the main branch is short staffed, so whoever would be at Broad St has to work at the main one.BTW, the post office is not tax payer funded, they are self-funded.”
“As some reviewers have mentioned, there is a serious disparity with the employees at this location. Dave is an exceptional USPS employee. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, efficient. He has gone above and beyond for myself and while waiting in line I've witnessed him do it for others. Overall just a very pleasant experience with him, every time.Almost all of the other employees over the last couple years have been rude and dismissive. Asking them for anything outside of physically taking a package is generally met with a bad attitude.4 stars for the location instead of 1 because of Dave.”
8:30AM - 5PM
266 Main Ave, Clifton“This was my third post office attempt today as the first two were closed (all before noon). This was open and Yvette was amazing! She was super friendly, helpful, and patient. Probably the best interaction I've had at a post office in years.
They are closed from 1-3 pm but it was much easier to find that information on Google Maps. And that time makes more sense to me than 11:15 to 1.”
“Typically, any trip to the post office is associated with a groan, procrastination, then a period of denial. My wife and I couldn't put it off any longer. Holiday gifts had to go and we're in a pandemic. Our local post office was out of the question so we thought, try a new place. So glad we drove to the Park Ave., USPS. Erik was the clerk and he was extremely friendly, patient and professional. Took the time to advise us on our packages and delivery options and we in no way felt rushed. It was hard to imagine we were in a United States Post Office. Haven't had an experience like that in decades.Parking is fairly easy, lines were not very long despite holiday season rush on a Saturday morning. Also, there is disabled parking (which I utilized), directly in front as well as wheelchair ramp access for those who require it.Stay safe and be well...”
