I actually was planning to go to a different salon but they were unexpectedly closed and I saw this one across the street and went for it, I was 45 mins until closing but they were super sweet and accommodating and I got both my gel manicure and pedicure done quickly! I felt like they had a nice selection and the prices were reasonable. I definitely want to come back and try some fun styles.

I will NEVER again go to this place. This is actually the second time this happened to me. I went in for a regular pedicure at 2 pm and I was done by 2:18pm. This pedicure also cost $32. I was literally rushed because there were three women who came in with more money to spend so my pedicurist was rushed so she could step in to take care of them. I left the girl a tip and I walked out. But that wasn't the worst of it the owner had the audacity to follow me out to my car to ask if I tipped, to which I had. This place will never get my business again, nor will I recommend them to anybody.

I had a terrible experience at this location. I had a great pedicure from one of the girls but the older guy who did my “manicure” was terrible! It wasn’t a manicure. It was basically just a polish. He VERY QUICKLY used the dremel to shape my nails and painted them. And then charged me $80. My “manicure” was rushed and just terrible.
I would not recommend this place at all.

I’m sorry but i’m not going to spend 100+ dollars on nails. Could’ve told me the price over the phone before i came all the way there but she decided to leave that part out. i’m a college student. i’m not paying for that. that’s ridiculous.

BE CAREFU!!! I'VE BEEN ROBBED! This weekend I went last minute to get a REGULAR pedicure and a simple manicure where they charged me $137! for gluing my nails, painting them and doing the French design..... for that I would have gone to any pharmacy and bought nails for less than 20 dollars and I would have glued them myself.... The owner said that it was a new technique that they no longer used gel because it is not good for the nails and they charged me for this at the last minute, owner said and if one of them came off I would return, Be careful, be warned They never used UV ligh, they never used gel the one that they put on me completely already had the shape they never filed, they just painted it... the pedicure lasted 20 minutes and my manicurist painted in 15 minutes it was ready. they should be ashamed. NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL

I moved to kinnelon about a year ago and have been looking for nail salons I tried almost everyone in kinnelon and butler but it seems like true colors was the best one for me. During the process yesterday I was cut on my cuticle so bad from filing it started to bleed and the nail tech apologized.Then later when I got home I realized several of my cuticles were cut. This is a new lady who did my nails the previous one doesn’t work there no more but she was wonderful. I can’t even wash my hands because they hurt so bad. Please don’t be so rough. I really loved this place but now it makes me question if I should go back or not.

I love coming to Tru Colors Nails! Excellent nail technicians for manicure and pedicures! It is very clean and that’s important for hygiene! The people are very nice and caring of their customers!

I have used this place several times and they have done a good job. I liked them but they are expensive and more than once have tried to do my manicure while I was getting my pedicure. The last time I had enough. They seemed frustrated when I said I didn’t want this (not the nail tech - she was sweet). I am not typically a complainer and I don’t generally do reviews but I am not paying to contort myself so the nail tech can stand next to me and do the manicure and then get dirty looks because I finally (when they got to the polish) said no They weren’t closing and they had plenty of staff. I got a gel manicure with rounded shape nail, white painted French tip. (I know white painted is a little more $ but still seems pricy) and was charged: $110 when they saw I was unsettled about that, they told me they would only charge me $100.I also got a basic pedicure for $30.Total:$133.00They also told me fills are $60.I never looked at the prices before I went in (I still can’t find them online) and I never asked to see where they had them listed in their store so if I was over charged, it’s on me. But everyone I told about the price said that is very overpriced for a gel manicure.The salon also told me that New Jersey nail salons don’t really do acrylic nails like other states do because of the bacteria (I told them I was from Iowa and had never had a gel manicure. Only acrylic).They were very nice and the lady who did my nails did amazing. I’m just thinking $110 is overpriced for a gel manicure. Especially since all my local friends told me that I was over charged.Services: Pedicures

Longest lasting manicure I have ever had. The salon was busy and short staffed however, gave a fabulous mani pedi and the owner did an amazing job shaping my eyebrows. I got my nails done on Saturday and it’s Thursday and I still do not have a single chip! And I’m a healthcare worker who is constantly washing my hands. Will definitely be back! Picture is 5 days post regular manicure..
