Run of the mill liquor store. A bit more pricy because it's right off the highway. Sometimes you stand there waiting while the employees finish packing stuff out. It is what it is.

Yes, this liquor store has selection but overcharges on everything from wine, beer. etc., They have the convivence factor, so it gets good business. It depends on who receives you at check out, some are nasty some are pleasant. I think this location is being observed by authorities. On one weekend afternoon, I happened to be in the Store, and noticed a younger person asking for Newport cigs. About five minutes later, an adult came in and approached the owner, saying they had just served a minor and asked for no ID! Really quite risky for a business owner. Maybe the overcharge they place on their goods can now go to their attorney fees?

The guy at the counter is pretty rude.He is certainly an employee not the ownerHe never greets, or smiles. His face looks like he is distributing liquor for free. Or we are stealing.Attaching a transaction from my digital wallet here as proof.This is a legit comment from a real customer

As you can see they have a huge selection of wines, spirits in one side and beers in the other side that you can get cool or room temperature they have everything to choose from here.

I've been a local Kinnelon resident for over 30 years and I've seen the many changes over the years. Jay now runs the place and he is very kind and fair. If you see a bottle of Champaign that you believe is overpriced, he will match it for a similar price at Bottle King or Gary's. I go there for the convenience. I will pay a little more so I don't have to drive for 20 minutes just for a bottle of wine or a little beer. It's a popular place because it's the only place in town.

The staff can be very nice. From the reviews I see that it depends who you get; I’ve had generally good interactions. However, I only go here if Bottle King or Gary’s doesn’t have what I want because this place is usually more expensive and it’s worth the drive to the others.
