They can't fill prescriptions anymore because of corperate greed and non-caring workers. My persciption if not taken on time may give me seizures and I don't know what to do so I need to call someone for emergency care now. What an awful place.

It's so sad. The pharmacy was knowledgeable and kind until 2024. Now I submit my prescription, don't get notified it's ready, and when I do even the company app doesn't process I've signed for it. So in addition to the staff changing from pharmacists who know/help others to people who give you blank stares and ignore any calls or concerns- the company app doesn't process on one end. Every time I've called them for help since 2024, they're not nice, sigh when you ask for them to check on a prescription- dare you ask for the pharmacist... that IS the pharmacist... Good lord the worst thing a company involved with other people's medicine (some who can't discontinue them on the pharmacy's whim because that's life-threatening) is lower staffing standards in the MEDICAL side of things because the company is going under. If you're not attached to this place, I'd find somewhere with care and better reviews for medical things. Fine to stop there for some cereal I guess.
Don't bother responding Rite Aid. You don't have a customer care dept- you have a pacification phone line and I'd rather not spend hrs on the phone telling someone who doesn't get paid enough to care why I'm concerned with one specific store out of thousands who experience the same.
Whole company needs to focus on QOL, hire the right employees, and pay them well enough to feel like they have a decent job. <- I've worked as a cashier there. The training video was soul-crushing and I was shoved into a closet-like room to view it for at the very least an hr or three with no pay before I could work there.
Wonder what the CEO pockets while they cut costs? Maybe spend some of those mils on quality of treatment for workers, customers, and listen to your lenders...
"Rite Aid's CEO is on track to receive $20 million in salary, but the company's bankruptcy lenders are not happy with the move. Lenders for the pharmacy chain want Rite Aid CEO Jeffrey Stein's salary reduced to ensure the company has enough money to emerge from bankruptcy, according to Yahoo! Finance."
Imagine the BANKS being more concerned...

This pharmacy is terrible. They never answer the phone, they don’t check their messages, they don’t contact you when your script is ready. They literally do nothing!

I’ve been a Rite Aid customer for many many years and today may have been the worst exchange I’ve ever had with a pharmacy associate at the Florence, NJ location. I requested a refill for my prescription at 9am and never got confirmation it was filled. I called at 3:00pm to check if it was ready. No one answered the phone. I decide to drive down and get in line. The associate decides to start yelling across the floor asking everyone’s DOB. It felt inappropriate to do that and made the process that much longer instead of handling each person one at a time. Finally get to the counter and she's asking me all the questions I answered when she shouted across the store. I asked her why she needed the info multiple times when she’s already asked me. She decided to get snarky with me. I let her know this was ridiculous and then she proceeded to ask who I was talking to. I told her I was talking to her. She then walked away and made me wait for my medication longer. She finally rang me up and I paid for my item. She continued to mouth off and give me attitude and I had enough and said some choice words. She then took my medication and refused to give it to me after it was paid for. This went on for about 5 minutes and refused to give me my medication. I think it was unprofessional and potentially illegal to do so. I will not be going back to any Rite Aid location for my prescriptions nor shopping there again.

Horrible experience. Pharmacy is always short staffed. Take approximately an hour to pick up my medication only if they didn’t make a mistake processing your medication which happens almost every time. Drive through is permanently closed.

Is 0 an option, that's my rating. Spokecwith pharmacy tech and pharmacist 6 times regarding a prescription. Had a prescription from the Dr and coupon from Good Rx which was not honored. 6 times and 4 visits directly. Got 6 different answers. If you want to advertise that you accept Good Rx then honor it!
