Flexible appointments. Easy access close to NJ turnpike exit 6, 295, route 206 and on Route 130. Dr Levine is always patient with us and our kitties and very gentle with them. We appreciate him and his staff for their care.

Where do I start.. Been my vet for the last ten years, and I just got screamed at and hung up on by whoever owns this place for trying to call and make an appointment for a pet with possible kidney failure. Called three times within a half hour and got yelled at for "calling a million times" ???When I said I was trying to make an emergency appointment for my dog, I was cut off within two seconds and told "No no no no they weren't accepting new clients" when I told him, no no, I was indeed a client, he argued that I wasnt, then hung up.For years this was the only vet I would trust.. not sure if this is a new guy or what but I'll never step foot in here again. Be warned, if he treats people this poorly, you can bet he'll treat your pets worse. Ten years I've been going here. What the hell.Still in total shock at this exchange..Response: Obviously my name isn't "Side A" .. I tried telling you what it was but you kept cutting me off. No idea who called you six times but it wasn't me. I hope your day gets better and you get some anger management.. It's a real shame because you were, untill this day, the only vet I would trust. Yeah there was a pause. I couldn't believe someone would talk to someone that rudely.. take your own advice and take some responsibility for how you talk to people maybe. You're making yourself look bad with this childish response. Also, you don't seem too busy and short staffed to type angry novels to reviews.. just saying

I am applauded at the response i received when trying to reschedule my interview due to a family emergency. Dealing with an emergency scenario for a loved one is a universally human experience that most hiring managers will treat with compassion and understanding. However, while trying to explain i needed to reschedule my interview due to a family emergency i was told "Let's just forget about it". I think i dodged a bullet after reading other people's reviews on working here.MyselfHello,I have a family emergency and i would need to move my interview to another day such as Monday if possible or whenever you are able too. I am so very sorry, i was not expecting this and i hope i am able to come in to do an interview. Thank you and i am looking forward to hearing from you. have a blessed day.Andrew Levine -ResponseLet's just forget about it.

My mother recently passed away and left her adorable kitty Tiger. My cousin graciously adopted him so he can remain in the family as I know my mother would wish. Tiger had some minor GI issues and of course the family wanted to get as much detail as we could so Tiger could remain healthy. When I called to advise the veterinarian of my mother’s passing and if I could have his records because he will be moving to Massachusetts with family he seemed aggravated i had such a request. Instead of records he sent me just vaccination records not the GI issue which is kind of important one would think. So needless to say I am very busy organizing my mother’s services so my Aunt called the doctor to get additional details on Tigers health. The Doctor, instead of kindness and understanding chose anger and yelled at my Aunt. Please consider this when choosing a veterinary clinic. One would think instead of sending Tiger to a shelter they would be excited for him to stay in the family and be patient understanding that the family is going through trauma as well as the cat (patient ) he treated. And gracious that we wish this kitty the care and health he deserves. I would definitely rethink using paws n claws. It’s interesting how the Veterinarian states “seen over a year ago” as if to say its been a very long time since he has seen Tiger. It was 1/25/23 and I apologize that my mother missed his yearly visit she was ill and it was a day before her death that he was due for his visit. I spoke with the dr. Who seemed very agitated that i had such a record request and he ONLY sent the additional GI information to my email after being extremely rude to my Aunt who had questions regarding his diagnosis of Tiger. Just a year earlier. Sir.

Gizmo seems to be out of it but I am monitoring him and keeping his wound clean. He has eaten and drank a little but seems drowsy still.

We had a great experience with our dog Bubbles. After taking her to our previous vet and was told she was getting old and her hormones were changing, we took her to Paws n Claws where as soon and Dr. Levin seen her said she looked like a Cushing's dog and after blood work and other testing it was verified. She is on medication and has made such an improvement in just a few months. Thanks to the doctor and the girls who treated my Bubbie with love and compassion ?

Only vet I would ever use. Dr Levine is the absolute best. He treats my pets like they are his own. Professional, knowledgeable and doesn't order unnecessary tests like some vets. Office is clean and staff is friendly and courteous. I would highly recommend Paws N Claws

Dr. Levine here is so great with my cat. He’s caring and gentle, and very knowledgeable. He answers your questions without making you feel stupid. The whole office staff are friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable. I’d recommend this vet to anyone. I’m not sure if he does exotic animals though.
