“Easy check in and out. I didn’t have any major issues. The hotel is super outdated but nothing major worth noting. The pool was my biggest issue because that was one of my requirements for finding a location. We called their dispatch number I believe and was told there was a hot tub, which isn’t true for the AC location. Lastly, the pool area was super cold. The water and the shelter area. We called the front desk to assist and a man came looked at the thermostat restarted the power and left. That didn’t do anything lol. There were heaters but they weren’t on. We stayed in for about 2 hours and never warmed up so we just got out.Rooms: Outdated.Walkability: Not close to anything walkable.Food & drinks: Bar attached to the hotel.”

“Very nice hotel. Very clean and very nice staff. We stayed one night Memorial Day weekend and the rates were higher than normal ($250ish) and tonight that same room it says is around $90. Like, why was it worth more last night? That kind of stuff is awful to me. It is price gouging and taking advantage of people basically. Anyway. Back to the hotel...its in a decent area as far as I could tell...some really heavy fog rolled in and we really couldn't see much of anything in the area. The a/c worked really well. The bed and pillows were reallllly comfy. The tv was nice. Breakfast was so-so. The normal fake eggs, cereal, apples, bananas, waffles, etcetera. The doors do slam really loud when anyone goes in and out of their room.”

“This is our first stay at The Surrey Beach Hotel. We had a wonderful stay. It was much better than the other BNB’s that we stayed at previously. We are looking forward to staying at The Surrey Beach Hotel in the future. The price was right for us.”

“Didn’t stay, was at Ceasars. We actually looked for 4 hours for a place to use our celebration dinners. This is my first year as diamond. You all need to list such things. I was told the day before that I even had it. It was like YAY, I got it and didn’t even get to use it. So thanks for nothing.”

“It was a fantastic day and a fantastic week last week. Company Christmas Party was held here and the afternoon was so incredibly sunny and way above average temperatures that we should have made a tee time. Playing either of the 2 courses here are " World Class" so if you haven't had an opportunity to play Seaview, make it a point to do so. It's truly a destination you won't regret. Great staff all around as well. Golfing side and hotel side... Enjoy and FORE!”

“Went on a Sunday at 1:00 pm and we were the only people in the entire restaurant. Our hostess moved us to the Grille Room which is smaller but we're still the only patrons. The food was really good! Had their clam chowder, tomato and watermelon salad, blackened tuna and the mac and cheese with fried lobster tail. The chowder was great, so were the salad and tuna. I've never had a fried lobster tail before and would not do it again. I don't think lobster tails were meant to be fried but had to try it. Service was nice - but had to ask for water, got a cappuccino but had to ask for sweetener, had to ask for a straw for iced tea. These are things I would have expected to be offered, not asked for. Everyone was very friendly and I'd go back again especially to try the prime rib special .”

“I booked my room online through a third party app. And there were no issues I called a day in advance to request a top floor which was accommodated. The only kind of problem that I had was the man who checked us in had a bit of an attitude problem. We had a second room booked for a friend of ours. We thought it was a smoking room. It was not, and he told us literally 4 times that room's not smoking. Yeah we heard it we know. I actually had to say dude. Don't talk to me like that. So he was very unfriendly, and unprofessional. We have stayed here More than 20 times over the past 7 years and have never had a problem. It is the cleanest and most convenient place for the money in the area. They do offer breakfast in the morning. That doesn't consist of just an apple and a yogurt, they actually have a station where you can make pancakes, Belgium waffles, they had eggs, sausage, yogurt, oatmeal, coffee all kinds of juices, and muffins. That actually has been Down sized since covid, but is still a nice perk. The motel across the street and next door cost more and does not come with breakfast , and it's literally on the same corner. During our stay, we always get extra towels with no problem. We are not bothered by anyone, it's quiet. It's convenient. It's a block from the beach. It's right across from Tropicana and honestly, If i'm not staying at a resort that's where I go.Rooms: The room is comfortable. We have a big screen TV that adjust you have a dresser with drawers, a refrigerator a couch with a coffee table and a king-sized bed. 2 end tables, a bathroom with the hair dryer. The bed is the most comfortable bed. I've ever slept in. I actually stayed an extra night so I could sleep in the bed q more time. I love that bed I actually. Took a picture of the tag to find out where they got it from. The shower had excellent pressure and stayed very hot for long periods of time. We did have a plumbing issue while we were there. Our toilet kept clogging but they did come and take care of it every time. We called within minutes so they were right on top of it. The maintenance crew Ask permission while we were at breakfast. If they can go in our room, they were excellent and housekeeping was excellent. Their friendly they always accommodated every request we had management not so much. And when we arrived, we went to the ice machine which there is only one of them with our bucket and ready to get ice and there was no ice so we went to the front desk and told him he said. Oh yeah, there's a sentence we said. No, there's not so we didn't have ice. From the 1st day and a 1/2 we were there. They finally did fix that. All in all. I enjoyed my stay. I will go back because like I said. All the other hotels in the area are a little pricier. And they don't offer the breakfast and that bed is just so comfortable. I wanted to swing it on my roof of my car and taken home with me. I will say that I did drop something and they have like a thing under the bed, she really can't get under there. I had to put my phone in look, the under the bed had not been cleaned in a very long time, there was a lot of stuff under there, I did not see any bugs but that is where they would breed. That was my big yuck about the place, and they used to have a lot of pillars on the bed which now they are only down to 4 they're used to be like 10 and they had a comforter that would be at the bottom. We never used it, but they took them away.Nearby activities: The Tropicana is right across the street, which we are only a block from the boardwalk. The Chelsea Inn, THE French Quarter. HootersWalkability: The French quarter is a block and a 1/2 away. Many choices of restaurants bicana many choices of restaurants and bars.Food & drinks: Chickies & Pete's, Tony Luke's, THE Chelsea Pub & Inn, Casa Taco and Tequila Bar*** (Our Favorite) We go there every single time we go down to Atlantic City. “These rooms are fair I booked a smoking room only to be told at the front desk that's is first come first serve and on top of that the dude at the front desk, I had to check him telling me I gotta wait to talk to a Mgr. He didn't ask me to wait. he just told me I gotta wait. I don't have to do anything. I don't want to. So I ended up going back at 3 pm, and the room was ready. Great rooms, btw.”

“This was our first trip to Atlantic City. My husband and myself decided that we needed a 2-day trip and I found this hotel and decided to give it a try. The hotel is beautiful, there are so many pieces and pictures from history. We booked a king size hotel room with an ocean view. The room was clean. The view was amazing and the staff is so nice. We arrived very early, and we were able to check in when we arrived. Was very impressed by all of the amenities that are available. However, we were not able to use all of them because we did go in the middle of the week. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Atlantic City.”

“Rented here, front desk attendant did not get his name was very rude a overall a hole, later on in the night we open our mini fridge to discover a heroin needle still full of heroin inside the fridge dead Center goes to show that no one in this establishment cares about who they rent to or how they clean the rooms would never come into this establishment don’t even look here to try and get a room, then the room itself. The paint on the wall has water stains. There’s mold in the corners this place was horrible.”

Watching the coastal storm/flooding from the window was fascinating. The little diner is better than ACE, so make sure to go there for breakfast early. Going back soon and honestly can't wait.”
