I just want to say as a local of Brigantine, thank GOSH we have this salon!! I went on the Saturday after Thanksgiving for a makeup appointment as a wedding guest, and I could not be more impressed or in love with my makeup from Jocelin. She was an ANGEL!!! She spent so much time perfecting my look, asking me if I liked it so far, and based the colors of my makeup off of my skin tone, eyes and preference. I have gotten my makeup done so many times, and this was by far my favorite place and experience.Please do yourself a favor and go here! You won't be disappointed. Danni is a WIZARD! I was super nervous going to a new salon but Danni was amazing! On top of giving me a beautiful haircut, he made sure he knew what I wanted and even explained what he was doing while styling my hair so I could (try to) recreate it at home. First time going to Art Is Salon and was greeted by Danny with a warm and inviting smile . Had am 11 AM appt and was seen promptly and Danielle helped me . She was great !! Did an amazing job . Super awesome place !!

After a tumultuous year of Covid and the death of both my parents, I have now been vaccinated and went to get my hair done for the first time in a year! Danny and the salon could not have been more wonderful. I felt like life is finally returning to normal and my hair has never looked better. I cannot express the gratitude except to say thank you for a great experience! Already made my second appointment!!

My appointment was for a haircut 3 weeks ago. I did not need styling just a straight around trim with side bangs for my shoulder length, naturally curly/wavy hair. The stylist, Marissa, did not come out to greet me or look at my hair before it was shampooed, a bad sign I thought. The shampooer greeted me and I liked the head massage she gave me.It has taken me years to grow out layers. Marissa decided to put layers back in. I hate it every time I wash it now as the curls stick out when it dries naturally. I told her I always let my hair dry naturally. She said she would blow it dry, I assumed she would use a diffuser but instead she used a brush, very different look for me. The next day it looked terrible so I had to wash it and let it dry naturally.I am very unhappy, especially as was charged $60 for a trim. I don’t usually give bad reviews but feel other people should think twice about using this salon.

My hair was a MESS when I came in. There was the remnants of box dye in the bottom half and bad, streaky highlights on top that I got at a different salon. Alana completely fixed it, the color is even and the highlights look so natural and pretty now, I'm so happy with the results! Thank you Alana!!
