I cannot say enough nice things about Ed and the team. I pulled in with a flat tire and they were able to handle it that day and get me on the road safely. They also kept me very informed and were just incredibly kind about the situation.

I leased a 2024 Volkswagen Atlas from Open Road of Bridgewater. They were fast, honest, and fair to work with. Shanjeev “Jay” Pius was my sales rep, he was patient with us and took time to test drive multiple vehicles. Thomas the sales manager was great to work with. He worked out a deal that was better then another dealer in the area without a lot of stress or hassle.I will be sure to purchase from open road for years to come, they are efficient in the sales process and honest to work with. They truly cared to earn our business and they did!

It was my first time on a Volkswagen dealer, and my first VW car. After 2 years looking what made me decide for a blue Jetta SE was Tammy, the seller. She was very patient, explained everything even the silly things. She helped with the whole lease process with the manager even the car insurance. I left there satisfied and not lost or forced to do the deal. The car itself is pretty good. I personally like a lot. Great features. I do recommend the car, this specific dealer, and definitely Tammy as seller.

Love that dealer. Rob in service was so easy to work with. I was in NJ he helped me select, order, and schedule install of snow tires and new wheels. Showed up this morning and in and out in one hour. Super easy!

We were interested in a used model they had on their website. When we got there the salesman went to get the car. He came back 15 minutes later with a jump pack and said the car was outside. It had no fuel in it so he wouldn't let us test drive it (even to the gas station). I convinced him to let us drive around the parking lot. The car had undisclosed damage on the headlight. It was not a WV and the salesman knew nothing about the car at all. After we went back inside he insisted on copying my drivers license prior to discussing a deal. When I declined he said he couldn't even give us a price without a copy of my license. He could not give me a legitimate reason to need a copy of my license. I said I was willing to give it to him once we had a deal.He refused so I left.

Ryan is the G.O.A.T! We could not have asked for a better salesperson. He was attentive, down to earth, personable, and a pleasuee to work with. He listened to what i wanted and delivered! As a matter of fact, the entire team at Open Road were fantastic! One of the best experiences I have ever had at a dealership. I would definitely do business with them again!

From start to finish they were great. They helped me get my 2012 Toyota Camry XLE. The car is clean and drives great. It was also pleasure dealing with the sales manager throughout the process of getting the car. He made it easy and simple. Thank you again.

I was in the market for ID4 EV and their website had the model in inventory. Dylan was great and let me do a good test drive and showed me the essentials since this was my first EV. I was able to book an appointment on a friday evening and was able to drive the car out on saturday. Both Dylan and his boss were very upfront and avoided any unnecessary delays. My whole buying process was very smooth and quick. I highly recommend them.

We visited Open Road Volkswagen of Bridgewater as our lease was up on our current vehicle. We were immediately greeted by Ryan, who made our experience easy and enjoyable right from the beginning. Not only did Ryan and the sales team make it incredibly easy to give back our lease (which was not a Volkswagen, might I add), but their knowledge and capability to work as a well-oiled machine had us walking out the door with the exact Volkswagen we had our sights set on. I have been through the car buying process many times and Ryan exceeded my expectations with his incredibly vast knowledge on cars and the car buying process/leasing process, as a whole. Thank you to Ryan and the team at Open Road Volkswagen. If you are in the market for a new car, do not hesitate to give Ryan a call! He is extremely responsive and ready to help.

I recently leased a car from Volkswagen of Bridgewater, and I must say that my experience has been nothing short of disappointing. Having leased and purchased cars from various manufacturers and Volkswagen dealerships in the past, I expected a certain level of service and professionalism that was sorely lacking at this particular location. To begin with, the lack of information provided during the car leasing process was a significant letdown. Unlike my previous experiences, the team at Volkswagen of Bridgewater failed to offer me any guidance on how to make my first payment. This is a basic step that should be explained clearly to every customer, especially for a financial commitment as significant as a car lease.Another fundamental aspect of a car purchase or lease is the introduction to the vehicle's features and maintenance expectations. Unfortunately, this dealership failed miserably in this regard as well. While I have always appreciated a thorough walkthrough of my new car's features in the past, Volkswagen of Bridgewater did not offer any such guidance. This left me feeling unprepared and uncertain about how to get the most out of my new vehicle. What truly pushed me to write this review, however, was a crucial oversight on their part. I realized that I had not been provided with the account number necessary to make my first payment. When I contacted the dealership to inquire about this crucial information, I was met with a frustrating run-around. Their response was that I would receive something in the mail associated with my first payment around the time it was due. This response was not only unhelpful but also completely unacceptable. In all my years of dealing with car purchases and leases, I have never encountered such a lack of transparency and professionalism. It's essential for any business, especially one in the automotive industry, to ensure that customers have all the information they need to fulfill their financial commitments promptly. In conclusion, my experience at Volkswagen of Bridgewater has been marred by a lack of communication, poor customer service, and a general disregard for the basic expectations that customers have when making a significant investment like leasing a car. I hope that by sharing my disappointment, I can help others avoid similar frustrations in the future. Volkswagen of Bridgewater needs to seriously reevaluate its approach to customer service and ensure that future customers do not encounter the same issues that I did.

Ohmy at Open Road VW of Bridgewater is super helpful, friendly, and patient and made shopping for a Taos a great experience. Ohmy answered all my questions, and was very patient while I tried to make a decision and went on a few test drives. I recommend asking for Ohmy when you visit Open Road VW! She made the car shopping process easy.

We arrived at Open Road, Rt 22, Bridgewater, NJ and we’re met with Dylan. He showed us around the showroom but, we knew what we came in for. We quickly realized he was “new” in his position. My husband and I have been in retail most of our adult lives. We were patient with him. During our meeting, his manager spoke with us briefly. He pretty much presented us with an offer, that we accepted. We came back the next day to sign the contract and pick up our car. I was so excited! What happened next was appalling. This poor guy, Dylan went back and forth and to his manager and credit girl and asking questions back and forth for an hour or more! I was so frustrated and upset, I felt like leaving. While waiting for Dylan to complete the paperwork and waiting for the credit mgr to show up after several pages, I got up to walk around the showroom, frustrated. During that time I observed Jason chatting with the credit manager and vaping. This while we we’re waiting for over an hour. Come to find out, it was his first time doing a trade in/lease. NO ONE HELPED HIM!!! Totally setting him up for failure! Shame on you ALL!!! No one showed us anything about the car or any of its functions. Then, I went to get the plates and if I hadn’t asked, no one would’ve put them on with “6” screws?!?! Not 8!I asked the mechanic about the function of the touch door open/lock. It wasn’t working for me. His response was, “well, it should”. There are many more things, including the payoff and insurance issues but, this is long enough and you probably won’t read it anyway.
