Jim has been of great help to me and my wife, not only as a Financial Planner, but also as a sort-of Financial Marriage Counselor. He provided practical ways for us to improve conversations and gave us different perspectives of how to view and manage our finances ("our money" instead of "mine vs. yours"). He helped us plan student loan payments better, how to prepare finances for an eventual new house purchase, and how to budget and pay bills more collaboratively. Don't miss out - we've tried other financial planners, but this man understood us - especially as he is a family man with children and experienced the struggles.

Jim, took me "under his wing" and showed me that not only was I able to retire, but how easy it was going to be. Jim has been my financial planner going on 5 years now. He really listened to my concerns, how I needed things to be kept simple. He asked all the right questions, so that I was extremely comfortable. His expertise led me to the risk tolerance, that has proven over and over that it was the right call. He keeps everything current through yearly meetings, and anytime I have a question, he's readily available. Even though I now live out of state, He's still my go to person for finances. Trust me when I say he'll make you very comfortable with his knowledge and personality.

Financial Pathways took the anxiety out of investing for us. They listened to our goals and risk tolerance, and created an investment strategy to fit it. They explain what investments they recommend and why, and look ahead to the future to help us make good strategic decisions now. We went from “I guess our investments are OK?” to feeling confident that they are!
