Went on a rare shopping trip to Bridgewater Commons Clark's Shoes on 5/15/2023. First of all, I want to rate the shoes. Good selection and I found what I was looking for. However, the service is another matter. There were 2 saleswomen there, one of whom was pleasant. The second saleswoman (apparently the Manager) had no idea of how to be welcoming or make a customer feel comfortable . Saw a few pair there that I wanted to try on. At first I was the only person there. The Manager (?) brought over the first pair I asked for with no smile or pleasantries. When they didn't fit, I asked for a few more pairs. I found myself stupidly apologizing to her, because she made me feel like I was asking her to go out of her way. Another woman came in and asked for a shoe in a size 8 medium. After she had tried them on, the Manager asked how the 8 1/2 fit. The customer said, oh, aren't they an 8? The Manager replied that the woman had asked for an 8 1/2 and she "usually tries to bring the customer the size that they ask for". So rude, condescending and not true in this case. I tried on a strappy pair of shoes that had a plastic support in them in the display (she brought me the display to try on since they were my size) and when they didn't fit I returned them to her with the support. I made a comment about the support being a puzzle to put back in. She said, no, that it was easy to put it back in. It seems that her normal mode of communication is to try and make people feel stupid. I bought one of the pair of shoes that I tried on (needed them for an event a few days away), but I will never go back to that location again. Truly an off-putting experience.

Male and female salespeople were unfriendly and standoffish. Both saw my father and I come into the empty store and watch us. Creepy and borderline offensive. Served us with poor attitudes. Buy online.

I got a babysitter to watch my kids so I could stop by after work and return a pair of shoes. However the staff at Clarks Bridgewater reluctantly processed my return, and told me they couldn't take returns for online purchases paid via PayPal. I didn't argue, but upon checking Clark's return policy online and calling their customer service, Clark's retail stores clearly should take this type of returns (only caveat is they can only give merchandise credits).Such a waste of my time and money (paid to the babysitter).

Bailey was the worst salesperson I have ever met! I buy here always. And never have I been I treated this way in this store. I get it. I return one item out of 15 years of shopping here. Bailey stated she would do a curiosity return since I had an online slip. Lost my Big business mistake. Bailey's boss even saw how she was acting and said you need help. Also, Bailey slammed the pen and the return slip on the counter. It made me feel like my business did not matter. I even explained to her I always buy from her. She did not care when you hire young people like her and don't intervene as a manager; you are not a good leader. I have been a Store Manager in retail for the past 20 years. And would never allow an employee to treat a guest that way! Bailey, I encourage you to take tips from the Older guy that helped me initially when I bought another item. I would use this review as a training opportunity! And have Bailey read this!!

The sales people were not very knowledgeable in using their shoe Brannock measuring devise, to measure your feet for proper fit. Also, they are not very knowledgeable about their products. There is a lot to learn about fitting shoes to your feet. I put blame on corporate management for not providing proper employee training. I highly recommend you visit, Foot Solutions and see the difference in expertise in finding the correct shoe size for your feet and comfort.

Bought shoes on line, didn't like them and receipt in box said return to nearest store or send back to warehouse. I went to nearest store - about 2 weeks later - to see if I could find a pair I liked, support a local biz during pandemic etc. Didn't find anything and clerk processed a refund to my card - shoes weren't worn, no issues there - but said it might take awhile if it wasn't the card I used for the original purchase. 3 months later, still no refund so I sent an email with pic of receipt. No response. after 3 reminders over 2 weeks. Called and was told by a rep - very "posh" British accent - that the store never should have refunded my money, all on-line purchases had to come back to the warehouse. Could not answer my questions why either me or the local clerk would know that when the paperwork clearly says I can return to the nearest store. He said too bad, if I want my money back I have to take it up with the store. Will NEVER EVER buy from Clarks again.

Clarks In General stores have great service. This is first time this store, I have experienced very bad service. I visited this store to return my online purchase and thought of buying a new shoes. But while returning I was informed, the store manager will not take the return because they cannot sell the shoes in store because there is dirt on below. My point was to return to Clarks- So they can send it back to warehouse. Why would someone not take the product return and ask the customer to send it back. Very bad service- So did not look for other pair of Clarks shoe buy from the store. Hope the store manager manager understand customer inconvenience.
