Went to the Bridgeton store with my husband. There was literally no customers at self check, I always use self check out. Was told by an associate 15 items or less and I continued to scan my items anyway bc my husband and I were doing separate transactions, but then another associate decided to freeze the screen so I couldn’t scan anymore and told us 15 items or less and we couldn’t use self check out, very unprofessional and just ridiculous, why should I have to wait in one of the 2 lines that are open when I can just use self check out in half the amount of time. Won’t be shopping any more.

This may sound nuts buy, I've been to many walmarts in the south jersey area and this one by far has the best clothes selection out of all of them. The staff could use a little work. And, this seems to be at any Walmart but, the majority of walmarts staff are not very friendly nor helpful. In fact. At some, they were either down right rude or ignored me altogether. Hence the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

went to check out walmart and had 11 items the cashier line was long so I went to self checkout and was told that i had to many items so i left my cart and left the store not ever shopping there again I really didn’t have time to stand in line and no line at self checkout

Prices are high
Walmart has lost the ability to train for customer service. Most wm employees have an additude and no one knows anything about the products online or in the store.
I can not stand it when an employee thinks they can randomly poke thru my items to be sure I didn't steal anything. Walmart has lost its way. There use to be a reason to shop Walmart and that was affordability. Now I can go anywhere else and spend about the same as I do in Walmart and not be treated as though I stole something.

Service Desk Rep was wrong. You have a full clothing rack on clearance including the one size I want to buy and because it did have the clearance tag on it. You stayed it is not on clearance. Out of 15 of the same items with the same color one of them is not on sale. I don’t believe you. You were lazy and didn’t even verify what I was saying.

Walmart needs to do better. I understand having certain items locked up, but please have staff assigned to the location available to assist with the key. No one should have to wait 10 minutes or more for someone to finally have a key and then have an attitude. All other associates are either on break or tell you sorry not my area and tell you to go to the front to have someone call. Then they have 2 lines open along with self checkout on a Friday afternoon. Lines all the way to the back of the store. The cashier needs change or needs a price check. No one around to assist this poor cashier, as we wait. Which makes your employees aggravated and the customers annoyed because too many floor employees on their phones hiding, pretending to put product away, clogging up the ailes, but not helping where needed. Training is needed in customer service and learning to be proud of where you work. I don't blame just the employee because if you treat them with respect, train them, and have leads or management that set good example, then it will create a better work environment.
