Screwed up two times in a row, two weeks apart. They don't care about their customers -- or at least me. They don't remind customers to take their cards back in the drive thru, had to go back last week after it was still sitting in their bin. They gave me creams instead of ointments two weeks ago, had to go back a second time. Now today, one of my scripts was not available yet due to insurance so they only filled one. When I went back they told me, "Oh that other one is on hold". If they cared about their customers they would let the customer know! So frustrating. I've switched to Rite Aid now. No wonder Walgreens are closing up so many of their stores. I won't be surprised when this one is closed.

On This day I was contacted by the pharmacist robert in upper Deerfield walgreens pharmacy. I cant even begin to describe the bs he had to give me for telling me they would no longer fill my script. Something about updating a wellness polocy. And said he does not have to give me a explanation. So finally I said " so you are being judgemental" and he was vary defensive. And said dont stand there and tell me I'm being judgemental after filling your script all those times ,lol . Yes robert thats the point. Why stop now! you give no good reason to me and I have done nothing to deserve judgment for fixing my life with this medication I take. How dare you! I have been taking this script for years from a credible doctor. They decide what happens, not you. They decide to give me these meds because I am a damn good person doing the right thing to fix my life and they can see that as clear as day. Allow me to pass judgement on you. You see A well behaved, polite well-mannered man come in fixing his life and you justify harm by taking them away because you think you are better then I. you are not. You are wrong, and you made a poor judgement call. Shame on you. For the second time this has happened because of the meds I take at that pharmacy. I have been going to class to get my g.e.d with the other meds you saw fit to stop selling to me. And apperently, I am not alone there are many others that have been judged by you. You never asked me a single question. You never wanted to straighten anything out, because you think you got me pegged, huh. I guess you don't like seeing others doing something for themselves. This is not even half of what I experienced at that pharmacy. All the dirty looks, the attitudes from your employees after speaking bad about me. and saying sarcastically "o its my Favorite customer" when i walk up. And after all that I stayed cordial. I maintained composure and was polite the entire time. I did not deserve any of this. I deserve a apology. maybe later I will send my review on everything else I experienced there soon. Thank the lord It is over. No more anxiety on being judged at that "Farmacy" Worst pharmacy ever. Do better. And rather Than be a civilized professional you chose to hang up on me good job..

We have tried to contact the pharmacist on a number of occasions to ask questions about drug interactions and the like. They never answer the phone. And when an employee went to ask for their help on my behalf they refused to speak with him and said they were too busy. It’s a shame they either care so little or are so understaffed that they cannot help their customers.

Don’t go there if you have an emergency later at night. The hours say they close at nine but I’ve been there at 8:45 to grab medicine for my kids when we ran out. A female staff member had locked the doors early and stared at me while I walked up then just shook her head while she kept talking to another employee. It didn’t even look like they were closing the register just hanging out. Between that and all the pharmacy issues, my husband and I have decided to make a switch. Not worth it. When I worked in retail, we got told of we closed the doors early we might as well wait there to be fired.

Made an online application for vaccine. Showed up and they did not have the vaccine. The pharmacist was clueless. Asked the to call around to see if another site had the vaccine. Not sure if they ever did. 45 minutes later I called the Rite Aid across the street and they took us right in. While we we waiting every other patient who walked in has an issue with their script. Will be transferring all rx out of this screwed up place

This pharmacy is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. I have even tried giving them several chances to fix the numerous and continued issues with no resolve.

This location is always having "technical issues". Either their system is down or like today - they could not take credit cards. Came in on Sunday to get my son's script. Pharmacy closes at 3:00. It was literally 3:01. Gates closed. Dumb. Understandable they have hours but what happened to customer service? This place is a joke.

The store itself is fine for the most part. I feel bad for the pharmacy department and then I don't. Supposedly their "system" has been down for more than a week. Talking with others, who were waiting in line, were also complaining of not knowing the status of their prescriptions. Also, that they could not get through to the pharmacy department or the store staff. I always seem to have an issue or a long wait for the pharmacy or always have a delay with filling. Usually, they never seemed fully stocked and recommend I go to other Walgreen stores. I should probably take this advice at some point. It's convenient because the store is close to me and has a drive thru, which I hardly use because I always have to go in and figure out whats going on with them and why I am waiting so long. Maybe poor management, under staffed, or inexperience workers? Either way, people who are on controlled substances or heart medication should not wait or not be informed about the status of their medication or if there's an issue. Doctors' office always try to call their patients when things are down or need to close. They should close the store or the pharmacy department and fix the problem then re-open. I think more than a week is too long esp. patients who need medication if they are post-covid and need antibiotics to clear any infections/pneumonia. Also, if customer/patients need prior authorizations on medications, pharmacy should better handle this via informing customers about this and what needs to be done or inform the doctor who prescribes. The pharmacy department should be more than just counting pills and putting into a bottle. I wish I didn't need refills on medicine, but to be proactive with my health; I am concerned that pharmacy inconvenience deters patients from keeping up with taking care of themselves and contributes to decline in health care for patients. Thank you and hope this long review gets someones attention to do better and help you decide where to go get medications.

I love coming here and all the regulars working at this location. Sometimes checkout is a pain.. especially after COVID.. but likely walgreens just needs more people working! I love all the people that work here though! Especially pharmacy staff! You're all the best!!
