I rushed my dog to this vet about a month ago. after being there for 7 hours the vet told me that I had to transfer my dog to another one of their facilities and keep him there for at least up to 24 hours for monitoring and that if I take my dog home he would DIE and would potentially bleed out at home so I should put him down. making the best choice for my family we chose to take him home. After taking my dog off the sedatives they gave me 3 days later my dog was back to normal living the life he had prior to being rushed to this vet.All this company cares about is MONEY. I would 1000% recommend taking your dog else where even in a life threatening emergency because they will just tell you to put your pet to sleep.

My puggle, Elinor Pigby, was sick- to the point of no return. But they took their time to give her the best care, stayed late to ensure she had me at her side. And they did their absolute best for her. I can't thank them enough for their reassurance and their efforts.

When we found our diabetic cat Batgirl suffering extreme hypoglycemic shock early on a Saturday morning, I took her to NorthStar Vets in Brick. Everyone there provided her with the testing and treatment she needed in a very thoughtful and caring way. They kept us apprised of her condition and prognosis every step of the way. When it became apparent that she would not be able to recover from the effects of her condition, they helped us say goodbye, again with their caring approach. Thank you to the team at NorthStar Vets in Brick.

Dr. Johnson and the rest of the staff at the Brick location are wonderful. They were able to help my little Leia kitty and were very thorough and kind with my husband and I, I’m so grateful to the staff and all they do.

Dr.Gates is Amazing!! She didn’t push for tests or bloodwork. She knew exactly what my Bella needed. Within 12 hours on an antibiotic. She is feeling much better. The front desk staff are Awesome. I highly recommend Northstar Vets in Brick!!!! Thank you!!

Highly recommend this group. They were extremely thorough and patient. They did not push us to spend any extra money on testing, x-rays etc. They spent time with us, actual time. Did not rush us and it was so very clear our fur baby was comfortable with them. Highly recommend this group from being to end. The entire staff have huge hearts and made a scary visit so much better. I can't say I ever had a bad experience with a vet prior but can't remember having such a heartfelt experience from beginning to end. We just want to give a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Gates, Destiny the tech, and the staff at the front desk. Our visit was 3/7/24 @6pm. Thank you all.

Dr. Gates made a terrible situation so much better. I couldn't believe my Shelby was so sick I was in shock. She was so kind to both her and me. Don't ever stop being a caring doctor.

i am always very satisfied with the services offered at NorthStar VETS. the facility is very clean and attractive. the receptionists are friendly and helpful. the medical team are compassionate, thorough, and highly skilled. my cat, Tess, also sees Dr. Shapley for Integrated Medical treatments, which are proving very helpful as well.

The staff here is very friendly and accommodating. The vet that actually has helped us out on several occasions was very compassionate and explained everything perfectly to help us with the next steps even when the news wasn’t the greatest. I’ll forever recommend them to my fur parents! The place is huge and very well kept, next door to a petco and a pet rehab.

Everyone here is very nice but this "emergency" office is not for anything but scrapes, stitches, or X-rays. They do not have ultrasound machines nor can they help your pet if they're exhibiting any sort of neurological symptoms. We paid $1200 for blood work and X-rays just to be told that we had to go to Garden State or a Red Bank hospitals (where they'll just repeat everything that North Star did and you'll pay for it again). As I said, they're nice but have not been able to help my pet the last couple of times I've taken her there. I won't ever go back. I'll just go to the place that does it all.
