Honestly I have nothing but great things to say about Charlie his crew and business unlike other shops Charlie and his guys actually care about you your vehicle and everything that's going on they work with you and do a great job I recommend them to anyone who needs repairs because you'll know the job is going to be done right and that your vehicle will be taken care of they don't try to upsell you or anything like that they're honest hard working and I am so grateful and thankful to come across their business Charlie the owner is a amazing guy so is his crew my family and husband will be forever grateful to you and your business and everyone there God bless you all from my family to yours

Honestly great business friendly very knowledgeable Charlie is a awesome guy and his crew is great I would highly recommend them over anywhere else in the area other places rip you off and just don't care about you they only care about the money not this place they'll let you know what's going on what needs to be done and trys to work with you and I appreciate everything they do from the bottom of my heart and my wife

Moved to Brick, NJ in 2021 and needed a good, honest and reliable mechanic/ auto repair shop. Charlie is THAT man. He always went above and beyond and I always bring me and my wife's cars to get repairs done and serviced. always fair pricing and just an honest man and mechanic and he always helped me and my wife when we are short on money and we would work out some kind of payment plan. very blessed to have Charlie and his crew at My Family Auto, they always deliver and provide excellent service. Would 150% recommend you bring your vehicles here to get serviced/ repairs done

It is the worst auto care I have ever had. I usually do not write reviews, but when I am faced with scams, lying, and fraud, I can not tolerate it. I have zero tolerance.
On May 9, 2024, at 1 pm, I brought my car for regular service. I was told I needed brakes, an oil change, etc. I took my car the next day at 11.00 am. In total, there were seven hours of work.
The cost of the parts was exorbitant, to say the least. Let me be clear: My Family Auto is a fraudulent establishment, preying on unsuspecting customers by charging them outrageous prices for both parts and services.
For example, the set of six spark plugs (either 37$ each = 222$ total or 39.24$ = 235.44$ total). I did not find my car (Lesus ES350 - 2009) more expensive than 60$. We checked online with the car shop owner and verified that the price was about 60$. I asked you to provide me with a receipt for my spark plugs. He categorically refuses to do that. I asked again and again. He decided to print me a copy of his "actual work." And the owner told me that I paid "less than supposed" and indeed the charge was about 3000$. I felt that he thought that I was stupid again. I wouldn't appreciate it when people think like that, and I must report it. From his "new report," the price for the six spark plugs increased to 235.44$. I asked the owner to give me a receipt again. I cannot even find those prices for my car on the Internet. It seems he just took those prices from his head because he wanted to charge more. That is not an appropriate behavior. He printed me a paper that the total charge for the six spark plug change service is 997.94$. That is a shame. If you google, the price would be a maximum of 500$ with parts. I was deceived by 500$. I told him again that he MUST give me MY RECIPES FOR MY SPARK PLUGS. He REFUSES again to give my RECIPES.
That situation was terrible, and I thought he could shame other customers just "because he wants more money." I decided to record a video to prove that he refused to provide me with a receipt. I will work with my attorney to fix that problem, report to the local Better Business Bureau service and FTC . That owner's behavior is not appropriate, and he does not even understand why. It is a very shameful car service. I will never recommend that service to my friends.

My family Auto is a throwback to the good old days where neighbors helped neighbors. You will not find a more honest or sincere shop anywhere. My husbands car was on the brink and now he says he feels like he has a brand new car. Charlie is an absolutely wonderful and kind man!! We are so grateful to have found him.

When it comes to taking your vehicle to a place you can trust this place is definitely it! Not only do they care they are extremely fair with pricing. If you want a mechanic shop that you and your loved ones can depend on look no further this is the place!! Charlie is the best. Very amazing person who cares about his customers!!

I had a problem with my car and Mavis in Brick. Mavis in Keyport rt 36 and Nissan rt 35 keyport couldn’t find what was wrong with my car 2 minutes at My Family Auto in Brick told me my tire is off the rim I could of killed myself thank you Charlie and his mechanics great caring people
