The Childhood Leukemia Foundation truly knows how to make a difference. They recently gifted my niece a beautiful wig, and the joy it brought to her face was priceless. This organization goes above and beyond to support young cancer patients, and we can't thank them enough.

BEWARE! This fake organization steals money. After they scammed me to give them money for good deed, they called me, claiming to be different charity organizations, for more donations. They are very persistent and like to spoof their caller IDs. Look at their fake positive reviews are all related to iPad.

Scam, got a call and after a single question got hung up on. All calls back were immediately hung up on after I decline to listen to the pre-recorded message they want to play.If you think you'll get donations from people by forcing them to listen to a pre-recorded message, then I've got a bridge to sell you!

THEY DONATE THE FEDERAL BARE MINIMUM TO BE CONSIDERED A NONPROFIT. 12%. A whopping 12%. And it is quite amazing how all their glowing "reviews" sound alike. Similar wording, similar spelling mistakes. I imagine a good 95% were posted by employees. I've had to block all Michigan numbers that call me because it is always them. And no matter how many I block, they find (or Phish) new numbers. I donated once and now I literally get at the very least two calls every single day. If I donate one day it doesn't stop them from calling multiple times the next. Donate to St. Jude's unless you just enjoy people calling from early in the morning to late in the evening.

Don’t do it. The call was clearly from a crowded telemarketing office as I could hear multiple other conversations going on in the background. I work for a cancer hospital so when I asked questions about the organization, patients they serve etc she tried to transfer me and became clearly uncomfortable. She didn’t seem sure of anything about the organization. Not sure what’s going on here and don’t want to speculate but zero chance I was giving them any information about myself or a donation.

Is the childhood leukemia Foundation legitimate? NO. It is a fundraising scam. They spend 80% of their donations on FUNDRAISING!!Exceptionally Poor. This charity's score is 28.15, earning it a 0-Star rating. Charity Navigator believes donors can "Give with Confidence" to charities with 3- and 4-Star ratings.

Got another call asking if I would pledge to donate so that they could send a donation packet to my house. They said that they can’t just send them out without a verbal pledge because it’s expensive. But why do they need to send an expensive donation packet in the first place? (I suspect it costs a grand total of under $2 anyway)Looked the name up online, and sure enough, almost all of their money is spent on marketing expenses rather than the kids. Super inefficient charity at best, more likely leaning into fraud, especially with all of the thank you letters in the reviews here. Those don’t look like reviews…

I received a cold call from someone named "Tom" asking me to donate to the Childhood Leukemia Foundation. Doesn't seem like a trust worthy charity to me. The negative reviews and articles reveal more about how dishonest this charity is. This is the first charity I have encountered that uses cold call tactics to get donors. If you want to help children with cancer, I'd recommend donating to other charities where your money can do some good. These guys are scammers.

These scammers are amateurs. They tried to scam me yesterday. Basically a woman pretending to go by the name of Jade was attempting to get me to give a donation and was obviously holding back laughter the entire time. I was immediately skeptical, so I did my research on them and the overwhelming consensus confirmed my opinion. If these ppl call you, just waste their time. It's the only thing that gets in the way of them stealing innocent people's money

I just got a call asking if I would like to donate money towards this charity/non profit and I will NEVER donate to this charity. They only donate 12% which is the minimum required by law to be a non profit. That is embarrassing and this extremely shameful. This organization was clearly made to line the pockets of the people who created it. To say it takes 88% to run this company is such a flat out lie and it’s disgusting. I donate to charities and people all the time but I will never support a charity that donates the bare minimum. Honestly, this charity should be investigated because I guarantee they are misusing funds considering they’re donating the minimum and it’s all a ploy to get rich. Shame on the government to make the minimum 12% too. Charities should be required to donate at least 1/3 of the money they receive since their only overhead is really staffing, postage, hard costs (rent and phone and internet etc..), and whatever the donee is getting from it.Do NOT donate to this charity. If you really want to help…go online and find a charity that donates more then the laughable minimum of 12%.

STOP CALLING ME!!!!! Child leukemia foundation has been harassing me with robocalls for the past two months. I receive at least 5 calls from them every day and I am on the do not call registry. I asked CLF to remove my number from the list multiple times. I am planning to file a police report for Child Leukemia Foundation phone harassment.

I got a call from a Chinese number claiming to represent this charity. +86 country code prefixed onto an 8 digit number. They spoke fast and were hard on the point of my commitment to donate so they could send a pledge card. When I said I would donate $20, they asked if I wanted to use a credit card right now. I said 'no' of course. I doubt I'll receive a pledge card. According to Charity Navigator, they only spend 16% of the money they raise on to the recipients of the charity. No, I'm not going to donate to these guys.

Yeah, the people who are saying this is a legitimate charity who uses an unfortunate telemarketing company are full of crap. Charity Navigator rates this charity as exceptionally poor. Childhood Leukemia Foundation has no transparency and ~80% of its funding goes towards fundraising. You know what that means? That means some dude at the top is pocketing everything. Their whole schtick is connecting kids with ipads. Sounds great doesn't it? They pay their executive director more than they donated in ipads. In fact, they paid their executive director almost twice as much as they donated. Notice how these guys from a couple years ago were like, nah, I talked to the director and they're gonna change. They didn't change did they, or otherwise you would not be here wondering who just robo-called me. Edit: As someone who works with numerous legitimate non-profits, these are the guys that make the rest of us look horrid.

Please stop using the telemarketing service you're using. I already told them we're set for donations this year and continue getting calls originating at different phone numbers. You are only as good as the people you hire, please find a respectful way to raise money.

Scam...will not let you go no matter how times you block them. Should be a law against this harassment!!!!!!
