DONT BE FOOLED BY THE LOOK ...... you will be very disappointed in the end I've only got to use it in the fall of 21 and had it serviced twice!!!..... both times there was a service charge, of $40.00 for a reel that was practically new So I take out to sea bass fish after it was serviced and the gear strips out on me again,,,, worse reel and combo I ever bought!!I told my buddy about it he said he had bought a bunch from Don and after using them and realizing they under preformed he gave them away.. I'm sure I'm not the only person that has experienced this problem. the solution was at the time take it back and exchange out for a better product if their was oneI would have paid the difference as long as there was a better product.I really feel bad about writing a negative post no offence to no offence to Don he is a nice guy, but this is about the reel not Don.

Ive been fishing for over 20 years and lemme say … Dons reels are amazing . Not only does his reels change the game when it comes to light tackle, the customer service / getting the reels serviced is better then any other company out there waiting weeks for a part or service !From NJ to Florida his reels are the only reels I pack!

Don, you are the best and thank you very much for the great customer service. You deserve what we call in the south( deserve aatta boy). I bought two 3500 spinning reels back a few years ago and had virtually no problems great product. I live in the Everglades National Park and fish the 10,000 islands all the time with these reels.Thanks Don

I saw them at the expo center in Edison New Jersey . I loved the light weight and quality of the reel. I accidentally ordered the wrong reel with the wrong handle and the owner sent me the correct one with a travel bag for when I go on vacation. Excellent customer service! Super excited to use this new setup ! Thank you !

Don is wicked good at what he does, if something, anything, isn’t right even a tiny screw on your reel he will immediately help you. He’s quick to reply back whether on the phone or email. Bought my first reel from him and I love it. I plan on buying a couple jigging reels here soon, you’re getting the same quality reel if not better as an avet, accurate, etc for the fraction of the price.Thanks Don!

I was finally able to give my new Canyon 5000 a fun test on some nice stripers off Monomoy on Cape Cod. I could not be more pleased. The rod handled the 34-40 inch fish perfectly and while it was playful, I always had control of the fish. Casted like a dream and matched up with a St. Croix Tidemaster rod - I am very pleased. I have two of these set ups and can't imagine anything else!
