The owners are extremely unprofessional. Specifically the husband. My friends and family had taken 2 private charters out two weekends in a row and spent thousands of dollars . The second time around we had kindly told the owner that the speaker was not working on the boat and his response to my sister was " you should've fucking realized before you went out " we were so upset and taken back that we waited and wanted to speak to the wife and her response was " we're overwhelmed " and we said that's not an excuse to speak to someone that way and she goes well sorry . I couldn't believe the unprofessionalism and the fact that these people own a business . As a business owner myself the fact that they speak to others this way let alone paying customers safe to say they won't be in business much longer .

Kevin and his female assistant were so nice and helpful. We had a party of 9...including 3 children and rented for 4 hours. Kevin checked me out on all aspects of the boat. I took pictures and video of prop..which I would recommend to all...before and after whenever you rent anything. I could not get the blue tooth to work ...but the boat was quiet enough to enjoy the music from my phone speaker at slow speeds. Kevin explained the throttle operation and safety features thoroughly. I've been boating for over 40 years and we've owned 3 boats in the past. We've rented from others...and I would highly recommend renting from Kevin and his professional teammates! Boats are clean and ...again...take video whenever renting anything. We had an EXCELLENT time. One last thing...I've been boating on Barnegat Bay for 4 decades...so if you enter the main part of Barnegat Bay...make sure to note which bouy # you will return into. The GPS map ...that map shows where others that rented have traveled. Also remember, the second # down on the display shows your DEPTH...stay in the channel and you'll be ok. The Bay is shallow in many places ...so watch your Depth # and don't bottom out. Hope this helps many!

The staff was excellent we dealt with Kevin & Brian! The boat was ready when we got there, staff showed all the feature and off we went. Like the flexibility of renting when you need it and the ability to keep the boat overnight. Thanks Benchmark will definitely rent again!

They claim to be a Suzuki Outboard Motor dealer. I went there for warranty service and was told they do no warranty work unless the the Suzuki motor was purchased from them. I notified Suzuki and was. Claim handled. I do not recommend Benchmark Marine.

Rented a pontoon boat for a bday bash with my friends to go to F cove for the day. Had an awesome time and the staff was very friendly and accommodating, they even let me use their air pump for all of my floats! The boat even has cooler built into it so we didn't need to bring ours. We also hired a captain for the boat and he was also very friendly and made sure we had a blast! (Thanks nick!) All in all we had a great day and everyone was talking about how we can't wait to do it again!

Amazing experience from the moment we entered the lot! We hired a driver because we do not have boating licenses. We got stuck with Nick I., and boy was I happy. He was absolutely fantastic. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and funny. He fit right in with our family and it was like he was a friend not a 'hired driver'. The boats were also in great condition. I would recommend bringing a speaker if you want to hear some music. They do have Bluetooth speakers but only 2 were working so the quality wasn't fantastic. You're able to rent tubes also and that just adds an extra level of fun to it all. Overall, definitely recommend these guys! This was our first year renting with them but it won't be our last!

11 (ELEVEN) days after the boat was rented out from them, promptly returned in 4 hours without any incidents, and then accepted by one of their staff members as in good condition, they found the propeller damage and kept our deposit money

Beyond terrible customer service. We reserved two boats, paid two separate deposits a month in advance. Tried multiple times to confirm the reservation of both boats, with no response from their end. When they finally decide to confirm the reservation DAYS BEFORE the reservation, they tell us we only have one boat "because their booking system has problems" and our second reservation was lost in transport their end. Their solution? "Oh well. There's nothing we can do." You could at least try to keep your customers somewhat satisfied since we are paying customers.

We rented a pontoon boat on July 4th and the company was so kind to add on a 6-10pm slot for us. We were able to take food, drinks, comfortably fit our group of 8 plus a captain, and were able to enjoy tubing and fireworks! The sales associate Nick as well as our captain Nick (owner) were great, friendly, and very helpful! Would recommend and am already planning on booking again before the summer ends!

Honestly this place should have 5 stars and I think the only reason it doesn't is because unhappy people leave reviews and satisfied customers don't. Everything about our experience was incredible from the boat which was in pristine condition to the pricing and flexibility of Nick and the whole team. If you have any hesitation I highly recommend you just book and have the best day of your summer.
