Only a year and 3 months from purchasing a table from Bassett and the side is peeling away. The white in the picture is the glue being exposed. Called the store and I was told I could pay a technician myself to fix.

Staff are good people and very talented. Will continue to send business there. They have a lot of great staple items when it comes to well built furniture. I bought this sectional and tables about 7 months ago and love them more each day. My only criticism I have is the fabric I chose for the sofa. If you have pets or a large family, I don’t suggest a light color sofa, it won’t hold up. It’s been difficult to keep clean. I’ve seen this fabric on many different items in several different stores not just at Bassett. I actually bought an office chair with the identical fabric. I guess it’s a huge seller in the furniture industry but just avoid light colors if you don’t want a high maintenance sofa. Love the marble tables (Keswick Coffee table and side tables) and after adding extra clips to the bottom of the sectional to keep it together better, I still love it. (Weldon sectional) The brackets that hold the sofa together slide apart very easily so we purchased a removable clip system to keep it together. Every sectional I’ve had always comes apart so it’s not just this sofa. If you don’t want this issue, just get two sofa’s or a sectional without the extra corner piece.

Nothing..terrible assortment of items. Didn't like the help either. I had been hunting for a headboard online and when I got to the store, the first thing the clerk did was bring me to the computer!
I had come to the store to look at the furniture In the store. Not on their computer. I could have done that from home.

Please DO NOT BUY from this store. Horrible quality and even worse customer service. I purchased a large dining room table with 8 chairs. As a new mother and just a family of 3, my husband and I haven't even had a chance to use most of the chairs. A month after delivery we noticed that one of the chairs had cracking all the way through the wood on the base of the chair, making it unusable. The chairs were purchased on sale but we also purchased the additional extended warranty. Bassett refused to discuss replacing the chair, only repairing, which we accepted. However, upon delivering the "repaired" chair, it was in worse condition. The cracking was not addressed. The screws were loose on the chair and there was black grease stains all over the tan cushion. I was so upset, refused the delivery and called the store immediately. After they did not call me back within the time frame they stated, I issued a complaint with the BBB and supplied pictures as proof. There, Bassett lied several times (I believe they didn't know I could read their response based on their surprise when I called to confront them regarding their response). They claimed that we broke the chair, refused delivery without cause, and that there was no chairs available to replace with (even though I can still go on their website and purchase the chair now). Upon writing another long response to BBB, Bassett agreed to repair the chair once again. While it came back in better condition this time, it still has a completely cracked base. It's one thing to argue about fixing/replacing the original chair, but it's another thing entirely to further damage the chair and then lie to the BBB. And while they did resolve the issues they caused while the chair was in their possession, it took many argumentative phone calls and writing to the BBB. I've dealt with some horrible companies in the past, but this one really tops them all considering the price of their items. Such a shame companies are allowed to operate like this. Now, a few weeks after that incident, the stain on the edges of the table have started to rub off where my husband and I sit and are showing white underneath. For the price Bassett charges I'm shocked the quality is so horrible. A very expensive lesson learned.

Comfortable atmosphere, no pressure to purchase. Quality furnishings at a price that is fair. Alissa was friendly, professional and helpful. Will go there again.

Bought a 10K couch. Within two months the chaise was sinking. Couch had staples in it fromPacking and damaged cushions. Bassett offered new cushion but would not replace or fix frame.I will never buy another product from store.

A two year old leather sofa was purchased here and it seems as though it was painted. The finish or paint is wearing off to expose a completely different color. Management said it was regular wear and will not do anything to resolve this issue. Extremely dissatisfied with the purchase and how badly it has aged. Looks as though someone spilled bleach all over the cushion. We will not purchase from here again.*** FOUR YEARS LATER*** I recieve a response from the owner. The furniture was cleaned every two weeks.

Bought a couch and loveseat. Couldn't decide on a fabric. Salesperson came to our home with numerous samples so that we could decide. Furniture arrived on time. There was a small cut on the arm welting. Delivery person took picture of problem and called it in immediately. Within 10 minutes we received a phone call acknowledging receipt of problem and letting us now that it was being worked on. An hour later we were called again and told that replacement arm fabric was ordered. Two days later our salesperson called to let us know that she was keeping on top of the problem. About 2 1/2 weeks later we were contacted that the arm fabric piece was received and the next day the installer called to arrange delivery/installation. The day after installation we were called to be sure that everything was satisfactory. Needless to say we were beyond impressed with how our problem was resolved quickly and professionally. The furniture is beautiful and well made. Made in America is an added bonus. We would definitely buy from Bassett again.

No offer was ever Made for 50% replacement. Not true !! And if you know who I am based on email then you have both my wife and I phone # to call and discuss your offer which never happened as well. You have now inspired me to go on twitter and as many sites to explain why you are not a reputable company. Thank you Thank you for your scientific response. It was a $7000 lesson for me with still no official assistance to the matter. I purchased in Brick NJ.

Wonderful furniture store with great customer service. Brooke was my sales consultant and she has a high level of product knowledge, creativity, and fabric coordination. I ended up ordering a sofa and loveseat and couldn't be happier.

Last Spring,, I started shopping at the various furniture stores in my area and was not impressed until I went into Bassett Home Furnishings in Brick. I am a fan of HGTV, specifically Joanna Gaines farmhouse style. Terese greeted me and became my own modern farmhouse style decorator! She was amazing and took so much time helping me select beautiful living room and dining room furniture. I was so impressed with her knowledge and expertise. She did not push me to buy, but simply put a picture together of what my rooms could look like and I fell in love with her concepts and ideas and ended up purchasing furniture that to me looks like Magnolia Home! She even suggested a color that might look good in my living area. I did choose the color she suggested and I love it! Just a couple of weeks ago, I went back to look for an area rug to complete my living room. Terese wasn't in, but Brooke helped me and again...I found someone who was so willing to take the time, bringing out samples of all my furniture, to help me choose the perfect rug. She even suggested a book to me, when we chatted about cooking! At Bassett, their salespeople truly take the time to find out your likes and your budget, then they work with you to create a living space that you will love. I went in to their store overwhelmed and having no idea where to start to create this look I wanted, except to buy a big shiplap clock for over my imaginary couch and an industrial farmhouse chandelier. Terese brought my dreams of this look to life. I would not shop anywhere else for furniture.
