Wow what a great campground! The staff here are the BEST. When we arrived we had an issue with the hook ups for our TT at the site. We called the number on the paper and the guy was there in under 10 minutes. He would have been there sooner but we gave them the wrong site number.
They had tons of stuff to do for the kids. The whole place is very well maintained.
We stayed here for easy access to the county fair. But we are already planning to come back to take advantage of some of the many amenities.

We bought a rig 2 and 1/2 years ago we spent the weekend here and fell in love with the place. The amenities are supreme. There's security is supreme in the activities they have on the weekends is just wonderful this place reminds me of home away from home my family loves this place and there's a lot to do with the children here I recommend if you have children to come here there's a lot for the children to do the bath houses of spotless and the people in the office are wonderful to work with I have thought about seeing what other campgrounds have but there's no reason for my family to leave here

I've been to kymer camp ground every year for the past 6years and I always had a pleasant experience but this time July 17 2020 it was different they didn't let me change my site after I went to the office and asked to be change because the camp site was not level ground and no trees for shade but they said I couldn't because there were people coming to the camp sites I wanted I said ok no problem nobody never came too the other sites and me and my family had to stay on the bad camp site and the pool was a whole different deal I couldn't use the pool on Saturday because we did sign up my son's only used it for 1 hour and had to get out .over all a bad experience plus I had a family member come on Saturday at 10 A.M to visit and he had to pay for 2 nights but he only stayed 1 night but they still charged him for Friday night knowing he came Saturday morning...so I called kymer campground today July 30th 2024 to booked a campsite and they told me I'm on a caution list because in July of 2020 I gave them a bad review I guess this isn't a free country anymore can't say what you feel..very racist and bias against Latinos..

Sites are very wooded which we like and registration and amenities are good. Only drawback is the utilities are a bit primitive, particularly the electric service to the sites. Only about 8 - 50 A sites in the whole place, all others are 30A and overhead service cables throughout are inadequate to support the load. This results in continual brown-outs and your surge protector shutting down due to low voltage. There really need a new electrical design and replacement of equipment

Rooms: Different options available. Not just tent sites. They have cabins and trailer rentals as well.

We returned to this gated campground for a second stay to attend an annual family event. Check in was seamless and the staff was helpful in giving directions to our site. Most of the gravel sites appear to be level with trimmed trees overhead, but the curvy roads through the park are narrow with 2 way traffic. Our camper is relatively small so there was no issue navigating, but larger rigs should check with the office before choosing a site. Both our stays were over the busy Labor Day holiday and the park was full with what seemed to be local families. We spent the weekend visiting our family so we weren’t able to participate in the various activities hosted by the park. The park quieted down after many of the campers left Monday morning so we invited the family to see our camper. Although our guests used none of the park amenities, and despite explaining the situation, we were still required to pay $40 to host a family cookout. Although resort fees are understandable, there should be some procedure in place for occasional guests during off peak times who do not use the amenities. We would return to this campground in the future but will refrain from inviting guests.

We went up there this last past weekend. For a family and friends camping trip. We stayed there a few years ago in a cabin the cabin was beautiful. This time we rented an area for tents. It was great. Our friends rented a cabin instead. We are all looking forward to going back again before they close for the year.Rooms: The cabin we rented a few years ago was absolutely beautiful.Nearby activities: Plenty of activities especially for the kids.Safety: Is a safe and friendly area.Walkability: You can walk throughout the park resort.Noteworthy details: This is an all-around great for campaign tenting , cabin, and rv,s
