Very bad customer service.
I was coming in with my two children 10 minutes before the store closing. I only wanted to buy 1 item with my kids and some guy at the door let 2 customers in ahead of us but did not let us in saying they are closed. He was very nasty about it, looked like a manager, didn't let me explain that I just needed to buy one item. I wish I could have read his nametag so I can blast him on here. This happened 8/3/2024 at 10:50pm in case ShopRite reads this and wants to hold him accountable. I'm never buying at this Bound Brook ShopRite again.

Probably the worst of the whole chain. I was passing by, decided to grab a bite, bought $40 worth of food in the hot buffet, which was cold. At the same time, the store has a cafeteria where you can eat, but not a single microwave to heat up the food, I found a microwave in the buffet where they sell this food, but they refused to heat it up for me. The last time I went to this store, it's some kind of nonsense, to have a buffet with hot food that is cold and not install a single microwave to heat it up.

We bought a hamburger and chicken sandwich meals and a soda . But they said the cashier guy wasn’t there . So we went to eat food in little table area. When we’re done we were going to bring up the stickers to pay up front when done shopping . The cashier Aiden comes over to our bottle of soda and grabs it ! I told him to put it down! I don’t appreciate him touching my bottle of soda with Covid and flu going around! I know we are going to pay when we check out up front!
Last Thursday. The manager told us that we should pay up front there’s no more cashier back here anymore.
So we brought the stickers up along with soda and paid at cashier in front of store.
This time your employee that was working in this area said it’s company policy to pay first and then eat it!
I understand this! But once again no cashier at time! Why didn’t she tell us we can’t purchase the food until a cashier was present??
I don’t appreciate being call a thief! We are very honest people and definitely going to pay for food and drink!
You ought to either have a cashier present at all times or don’t sell the food or drink until there is someone!
But you don’t want to lose out on the money do you?? Since no cashier was present! Or don’t sell food cooked anymore!!!
