Went to this branch today to make a large withdrawal. The Teller initially asked me if I had my debit card. I advised that I did not but had my drivers license.
After I provided the deposit slip and made the teller aware of the amount of the withdrawal she asked for my drivers . I provided her with my drivers license. The Teller stated " Let me check your licenses to make sure that it's not fake".
While I understand that it protocol to check my licenses, to specifically state " Let me check your licenses to make sure that it's not fake. " Is inappropriate, very offensive , and unprofessional.
I was definitely rubbed the wrong way , but not wanting to make a scene I tried to simply move forward with the transaction
The Teller then stated "I can give you (xxxx) a portion of the amount requested.
I made her aware that I've made large withdrawals in the past from other locations and was never told that I could not have the full intended amount.
The Teller stated that she would need approval from her Manager. She walks over to the Manager who tells her that it's ok to give me what I was requesting. ( Why would I not be able to withdraw as long as the funds were available?)
The teller then asked for my ssn #. I'm frustrated at this point. Because it seems that the Teller is taken these extra messures to " confirm my account".
The reality is that I was being racially profiled.
When I asked why she is requesting the additional information, as I'm aware that a one time verification code could be sent to my number to verify my account without her having to ask for my ssn.
She called her manager over and stated that I am refusing to provide her with my ssn#.
The Manager came over and asked her if she sent the one time verification. Which I knew could be sent to me without the Teller going through additional hurdles as my phone # is connected for verification codes.
The Teller said no , and stated that I wouldn't provided her ssn#
The Manager walked the Teller through the remainder of the transaction to smooth over what had occurred.
I am aware that precaution have to be taken. However, the inappropriate statement whether intended to be a joke or not was uncalled for.
The behavior from the teller was unacceptable for and upsetting.
I'm an African American Woman who came in casually dressed on a Saturday. I am wondering had I been any other nationality would I been treated the same way.
I too am a Manager of of large company and customer service is the forefront of what we do, and how we grow and maintain our business.
I would hope that this young lady would get additional training on how to work with customers of all background.

Best branch in the area! The three tellers, Joe, Shavon, and Raz are absolutely FABULOUS. They catered to my every need and they all had such beautiful personalities. Very professional branch. The branch manager Tony is very knowledgeable. BEST BANK EVER ! :)

Male teller at the front desk with glasses was nice and helpful to his understanding. Seemed a bit spoken down to by other woman teller. Went into to break change on an older bill, at first was declined service and told to "take that" by woman teller with dark hair as they pointed at the bill instead of handing it back. Manager with blonde hair seemed caring. After the manager told the teller to break my change she tried to say it might not be accepted because its older. (Never been to a bank that didn't accept circulated money thats not even 50yrs old) Thought all bills can be tendered at a bank. Dark hair teller tried telling the manager the bill was fake which it clearly wasnt explained quickly by the manager. Lack of knowledge and customer service by front desk lady. Seemed to be a powertrip type of woman seeing how she spoke to her team and accusing me of counterfit money. Never had an experience like this at a bank let alone someone that cant verify legal tender working with money. Definitely not going back to this location. Shouldve read the previous reviews and saved my time.

Been going there for a few years. Manager and tellers are very nice and efficient. They still have a coin counting machine. Very convenient location.

Roma had much better customer service. Not everyone but the Bordentown branch is usually un-organized, (very) rude and pushy about CDs and other products.. (and there usually not even close to the best rates in the industry). Have gone in for different official documents (multiple times) and have received the wrong documents which tells me training is sub par... we have been searching for different banks.
