Would give 0 stars if I could. My 80-year-old mother has tried for over a week to get an appointment to get help with her account and the tellers tell her the only people who can help are the non-teller staff--who never seem to be working that day, and the tellers aren't able to even make her an appointment. Even called their customer service line and THEY called the branch and the phone line was constantly "busy." Pathetic.

Completely rude when asked basic questions on the phone. Worst customer service experience in my life. I called to ask for assistance and was blown off and belittled. Disgusted with this branch and leaving Santander.

Ketal was the banker who helped open up my account. Very professional and outgoing, I could not have asked more. Process was also very quick and seamless which made it even better. 5 stars for the bank and for everyone who works there. I would highly recommend!

If I could give this bank ZERO stars I would. My company has been a customer there since 2008 including a Business Checking Account, and a rather sizable Capitalization Loan. We have been working remote since the 2nd week of Mach 2020 due to COVID-19 and have our mail held at the local post office (which has been an issue because not all mail has been there when we come to pick it up. When we did receive a notice of the account being over drawn, I personally went to this branch in Boonton who has been servicing my company since we started with this bank and made a deposit to cover the shortage. The teller took my deposit and put it directly into our business checking account and gave me a receipt. Two-weeks later I get a letter with a check from Santander "Collections Operations" department stating that the enclosed check is for the overpayment for the account and that the account has been closed. I just got off the phone with this department and was told that the branch should have called me since there was an issue...guess what...no phone call ever took place. How do I know? Because all calls forward to our employees cell phones, yes even mine. I just asked all 14 of our Team members and no call ever took place. BTW, the person on the phone with me seemed shocked that the branch never called me. Can you imagine? A company with a good standing relationship with this bank and this is the way they handled us? Good thing that Cap Loan was paid off in full a couple of years ago. We are a $20 Million Dollar a year Ad Agency...so...my turn...you don't want to take care of your "customers" with any decent approach, I feel EVERYONE should know. Bottom line...there are a lot of banks out there...GO to anyone of them and NOT Santander. If you do for either personal or business reasons, don't be surprised if you are treated like a non-important entity. Like Bob Seeger sang "I feel like just a number". This branch can't even retain anyone other than tellers. I have looked the other way for 12 years; now it's time to start chirping. Consider yourself warned. Buyer Beware...Good luck.
