As someone who has no experience in funeral planning, I have to say the entire staff here was helpful, kind, and able to give my sister and I step by step plans for my mother’s funeral. We appreciate all the help that was given. They did an amazing job guiding us, preparing everything and getting every detail right for us and our family during our most difficult days.

Dangler, Lewis & Carey Funeral Home in Boonton went above and beyond in helping plan my Uncles services. Mr. Dangler and family were VERY compassionate, comforting and attentive to detail. They were with us every step of the way, making this difficult time very easy for our family. They thought of everything and we are so very grateful. Dangler Lewis & Carey Funeral Home in Boonton was extremely helpful in planning for my father’s funeral service. Mr. Dangler’s compassion was extremely helpful and comforting through this very difficult time. We were also pleased with his staff’s professionalism and kindness throughout the services. I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL. The big tall guy, guessing he is the owner, is so impersonal, and non caring at a very emotional time, when you have just lost your loved one. Everything was just very routine, and going through the motions, with no sympathy what so ever. He acts as if he just wants to get it over with. Even down to the cemetery, as we were parting, leaving my dad for the last time. I expected everyone to place a flower on my dads casket, as a loving parting gesture. Nope, he said everyone leave your handprint on the casket. HORRIBLE, experience from beginning to end! Take your deceased love one somewhere, where they care, and make your experience a loving parting one.

The director was very compassionate, respectfull, professional, and helped me through the whole process which was my first time dealing with this tragedy myself. They made me not feel alone and helped me through the whole process.

I will never forget how Mr and Mrs Dangler took care of our family at our worst hour. My father died unexpectedly and we had no plans prepared for his funeral. The Danglers walked us through the process- and not only made it bearable but a beautiful tribute that has continued to console us 9 months later.

Wow very unprofessional. They made a already difficult time much worse for alot of people. They seamed to not know what the heck they're doing!!
