Horrible customer service. I asked a cashier to exchange my 3 quarters, 2 dime and a nickel into a $1 bill. She gave me attitude for asking a simple request and then says to me “this is not a dollar, this is 35 cents” with the quarters still in her hand.
She treated me like I am stupid and I hope this store sees this review.

Bought 2 dozen littleneck clams and some crab clusters...all the clams were dead and stunk. The crab leg clusters stunk. I threw out $40 worth of clams and crab legs. Absolutely horrid and disgusting. Note to the Manager, if you don't rectify this your seafood is going to kill somebody. I'm ? serious, someone will die from eating your store's disgusting mishandled and improperly stored seafood. This was my second time buying your seafood and was giving the benefit of the doubt. Absolutely disgusting what is being sold. Do not buy seafood from the counter unless you are ok with potential food poisoning. I'm and not kidding....it's that bad.

acme in boonton nj is nice but prices are high.my big complaint is with customer service desk.she wouldnt clip a coupon for me .if you go to any major grocery store stp n shp or shoprite they are happy to do so!

I would give zero stars, if I could, the worst store! I Only go out of desperation because it’s close and even getting a couple items is always a big mistake!
The food is old, bad, and moldy.
And OVERPRICED!!!!
The employees are rude and shady!
I’ve Been overcharged multiple times!
Never again! Not even convenience will make me go back to this thieving dump!

Very high prices if items are not on sale and if they are on sale the stock is limited. Also watch your receipts- often the items scan wrong. Additionally I don’t have time for games while shopping- the app is so disingenuous- I have to find the item, toggle over to deals add it to the cart. Who has time for this? I’m shopping not playing a video game.

Just went to the deli and the gentleman working was one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. I could not understand him and when I said excuse me he became aggressive and began yelling make up your mind ok make up your mind. However, I didn't hear or understand what the question was. I will not be returning.

Went to the deli counter and was told "were closed" the store closes at 10pm it was 7:20 when I walked up. When I asked what time does the deli close I was told "now" no deli hours are posted anywhere. Prices are consistently higher than average and lots of out of date product.

I was looking for a home delivery. I downloaded the app and entered my address and service log but it didn't tell me that delivery wasn't available in my area, so I spent an hour shopping online only to find out, at checkout, I couldn't get this service. Reluctantly, I decided I would place the order for pick up. Later, I received a text that my order was ready. I went to the store trying to find the one parking spot designated for pick up, which was not easy to find. I checked in and waited over 15 minutes. The people were really kind, and the food was handled and packed with care; otherwise, I would have given this experience 2 stars.

I love this store but more than once I’ve gotten people in the seafood department making it a problem to steam things. This is a service that ACME offers but almost every time I go “the steamer’s off for the night”. Just now Kathryn told me that the steamer has been off since 3:30 since the store is closing at 8 today. So you need to turn it off 4 hours before closing??? Really? Just lazy & wasn’t even trying to be nice about it. Also maybe consider getting off the phone when serving customers. Really didn’t wanna snitch on you but I hate laziness & poor attitudes.
