Family owned and you know that you can go there for that particular thing and if you also need some guidance on the task you're undertaking as well, these guys know their trades and will happily, patiently explain how to go about the task at hand. Sure, I could hoof it over to Home Depot and possibly save a few shekels, but to walk out of this store having been fed a helping of old school customer service, the kind that is so rare these days, you may have forgotten what it is! And it strikes me, "oh yeah, there still are a few stores run like this. Whew!" That's worth more than the few shekels extra you may have paid here, bc that kind of feeling that all is well in a lil pocket of the neighborhood is basically priceless! It's no wonder it's been in business all of these years, they treat the customer right!!”
“10/10 !!! I called before I came to get Screws and nuts for a project. I was Greeted by a gentleman who was more than happy to answer my questions regarding ours and inventory. Later that evening I walked in and was greeted by a pleasant lady behind the desk who helped me find what I needed. After leaving I found that I got the wrong screws and nuts. I called and asked about to return policy, where I was helped by a second gentleman who spoke to me with passion telling me to just bring them in and don't worry the right size will be found. Overall : Customer Service is everything. Thank you guy's, I will be back.”

“I love Ace Hardware in River Edge cause of the paints, grills, and everything else. My program works at Ace Hardware on Tuesday's to clean the grills, sweep the floors, fix the shelves, and restock the shelves. My grandparents, Aunt Chrissy and Uncle Mike sometimes go to Ace Hardware to pick up things for their houses. I also ran into Mr. deMarrais while I was at Ace Hardware. Ace is the Place for the helpful hardware folks.”

I called ahead to tell them what I needed in my own words I told them and they guided me throughout the whole process, I needed some lumber and didn’t know the measure of the lumber at all, one of gentleman at front took his time to show me the lumber I needed to make sure if that’s the lumber I needed for my project! They have a bunch of tools there and if you need any help, they are open help you! Highly recommended! Will be coming back for my next project!”
“The young lady who works there is very knowledgeable. I had called two different plumbers two times in the past 4 months and paid a total of $450 to unclog my kitchen sink. They did nothing. Just ripped me off and didn't address the issue. Before calling another plumber, I stopped by this store and the lady recommended a liquid to pour in the drain. I've never seen the sink work better in my stay of 10 months in the current apartment. She deserves recommendation.”

I called ABP and got exactly what I needed, at a good price, with helpful service, and had it delivered within 48 hours. It was a tricky delivery -- down a narrow side alley -- and one of the owners came himself on the truck and drove the forklift. Thanks!”
“They have any basic things you need for your home but not furniture! The salesgirl was lovely, helpful and quick to help! Let's see if my Miele vacuum comes back in too too shape. $125. To do a cleaning on my vacuum which they send out. They don't do it there....”

“Craftmaster Hardware, is where it's at! I'm a Maintenace Techniacian and a good portion of my job requires locksmithing. I exclusively shop here for all my locksmith needs. Why would I exclusively shop at one place? The answer is quite simple. They have unbeatable prices, fast shipping, and phenomenal customer service! The company I work for has an account with them, so the prices are ridiculously cheap; there's is absolutely no comparison. Their prices are usually 20-25% cheaper than the regular retail price. They're really good about shipping. Anytime I purchase an in stock item, they'll ship it out the same day and I will usually receive it the next day. Their customer service is top notch, I usually deal with a sales rep by the name Don; Don's the best! If I have any question about something I'm not familiar with or what kind of lock would be good with a certain application, he's pretty good at making a suggestion. A couple times I needed some out of stock items expedited and he was able to get them to me fairly quick. There's also been instances when I needed a something same day and I was able to pick it up directly from them. If you're a locksmith or a technician I highly recommend you check this place out!”
