Enough is enough. I have kept quiet about this store for long enough. Since October of 2023, they have sold me 3, different packs of rotten deli meat, one box of crumbled frozen chicken, ice cream that has been melted and refrozen. Defective earbuds and a whole bunch of attitudes from certain employees. The shelves are stocked with damaged food items, as you can see in the above photos. The photos were from just one shelf!!! Not all of the employees are bad. Some are actually very nice. This was the only reason this review has not come sooner. Now, let's move on to the kid at the register that was obviously too drugged up to do anything functional. When I tried to return the most recent pack of rotten deli meat, he tried to charge me for it! Did you not hear me? I just say that it is rotten when i handed it to you with the receipt.' He then asked me what i was trying to do with it! I told him to wake up and get the manager. He wandered off to the snack aisle and stood there playing with his phone! Now, let's get to the solicitation part of this story. Certain employees, male and female, have tried to solicit money from me and friends of mine in exchange for 'favors'. When they are denied, they get very angry and slander you to other employees and customers. Two of these employees are no longer employed there, but one remains. This was a nice store when it first opened, but the employees and poor management have let it go down the toilet.

Could use a second cashier, but good prices if you're a comparison shopper. Agree that the entrance/exit should be swapped. The company's tractor trailer driver shows annoyance when local traffic won't let him turn in. I get it.

I have always had a good experience here and I find the store has a good selection and is always well stocked and clean. A little bit of everything from hardware and cleaning supplies to beauty products and home decor. Getting in and out of the parking lot can be a little tricky but this is mainly due to the fact that this is on the main drag through Bloomingdale. There is ample parking on the street as well though.

The exit an entrance needs to be switch it is almost impossible to get out with the line of cars parked on the side of the road you can’t see if anyone is coming super dangerous accident waiting to happen if the exit am entrance were switched you would have a better view of on coming traffic knowing if you can pull out or not otherwise people in the store an the store itself is great

The employees in this dollar general are extremely rude, practically walking into you every aisle you're in. We were the only ones in the store and they seemed to be in a big rush to get us out, wouldn't even wait for my sister to download the app. Extremely strange vibes. (But I guess that's expected at dollar general)
